Bought a small amount this morning.

Major potential (short term) risk is any further lock downs, which would prove very costly.

Longer term the current price looks reasonable(ish).

If wider equity markets were to sell off again, this can easily trade below £2 imv.

Vinci SA said Wednesday that it has been awarded a contract for lots N1 and N2 of HS2's main civil engineering works package in the U.K. in a 50:50 joint venture with U.K. builder Balfour Beatty PLC.

The French construction and infrastructure company said the joint venture was awarded the contract on April 1, with the two lots valued around 5.75 billion euros ($6.29 billion).

Vinci added that work should start in the summer of 2020 and last 74 months.

While budget delivered increase in infrastructure and housing the rise here seems to be company specific - most in the same sector have barely moved and some such as FORT- Bricks a key component have fallen.

I'm not keen on buybacks. They rarely improve the share price. A juicy dividend has a far greater impact in my opinion. Current situation suggests they might be better using the funds to get discounts from suppliers for immediate payment or other methods of improving profit.
