They could not out together the financing for P1 and the merger was just a guise for the huge fund raising/dilution which they will attempt. It is likely that given the magnitude they will fail! 02/9/2020 13:37 | For me the reason I see BPC merging with CERP is that it will make fund raising easier to pay for the Perserverance-1 well. Be that getting better CLN terms, selling off CERP assets or whatever, its the only reason imo they would merge with CERP - it offers them alternate routes to get funds. Hence I think why PRD offered such a low price, they have nothing to lose and its no deal its no deal.
