Thanks whoppy - good spot.

Seems a bit of noise coming out from officials around oil drilling... JV with Exxon coming our way?

Matt, no I’m being serious. I don’t like the way the Chinese operate. Latest example is when they welded families into their flats when they had COV-19 in Wuhan.

The pro democracy kids in Hong Kong are going missing and being killed systemically. Communism...!

Anyway, back to BPC

I can't tell if you're being facetious, condescending or what.

Regarding snake bites heart disease normal flu etc. Two things.

Some of those are quite easily avoided or managed. They are not forcing economies into recession or worse.

And... Just because we have a new flu, all the other things carry on anyway, in a medical system that's on its knees already, as we are told every day.

Whether the flu is worse or not is irrelevant now, the economy is going to suffer to a degree I think none of us has ever experienced.

Yes Matt, China will kill their own people, keep the propaganda rolling just to boost their economy and keep the dictator clinging to power. Thanks to China and their lack of basic hygiene the world now faces COV-19.

And another thing.

Are China renowned for their honesty, free speech etc? No, they are not.

So they say no new cases. True? I strongly doubt it.

An easy way to reduce your counts... Stop testing. Remember the published numbers are only the tested cases.

I would sooner bet on china being found to have been lying than BPC right now.

Flu comparisons... Its just the flu. No it is not. Bigsi2 called the rate of expansion.

For the clever clogs who like a maths challenge...

25% increase per day means it is doubling numbers of people infected every how many days?
Then deduct about 3% dying, and allow for 97% recovering every, say, 10 days.
How long does it give us to get a vaccine or cure before 3% of global population (shall we say 7bn) has died?

I am sure you are all familiar with the grain of rice chessboard puzzle...

And I suspect my "ignorance" on BPC has proved rather more profitable than your "common sense" As you watch your portfolio shrink 10% a day that's 10% in my pocket every day - I thank you !!

As I'm not called Tom I wouldn't know...Yet another thing to add to the exceedingly long list of things you get totally wrong.BP now valued at less than post Mocando... I wonder why ???don't they know about potential Chinese stimulus ? FED has just announced $1trn stimulus...The market just shrugged its shoulders and kept dropping ...Seems they know something you've not worked out yet sweetie

Yeah Linton - They don't get BPC or the prospects or the now or never scenario. The work that's gone into this with funds agreed, so long as a rig is available and the insurance approved, mitigates the risks. The insurers have endorsed BPC by saying they have the experience that is of a leading World class oil pedigree.

What's that got to do with drilling over 100 miles away from the Bahamas with all equipment coming from Fourchon? Bahamas are not involved in the oil drilling, you do relaise this? As for oil price and markets. Majors looking to do a farmin are speculating 5 years from now for first oil, or 2 years for Bahamas and BPC. Todays oil price means low rig rates and drill costs. Perfect time to explore for oil. Same with CLN. Lend little money for maximum gain. It's pretty simple investment case which is the basis of the loan due to special situation funds being the subscribers. This is an investment for lenders with a high risk profile. They do exist.
