It is worth a punt - no doubt about it.

The tone of the news today is positive in that they maintain all is on track.

The approval for the well remains the big news - I believe the CLN will go ahead now - the last hurdle to get over is the approval to drill the well.

If they get that, then we are off to the races to 6p - 8p range ahead of actual drilling.

Having been investing in the E&P sector for 35 years, I have just taken a punt on this. The dilution stated in today's RNS is virtually non-existent. The risk on Fold B (given as 23-35%) is less than half the industry average, often quoted at 10-15%.
Success in the initial drill has commentators predicting a value of 36p, although there is - of course - but a 29% chance of that ...

My point was if the BMF would have been oversubscribed then it would have made a placing more likely as less to raise.

Now it looks like the CLN is more likely
