BAE Systems intends to sign a lease to open an office at the new Georgia Cyber Center to to grow its presence.



“We currently have more than 400 employees providing advanced analytics and information assurance mission support in the Fort Gordon/Augusta market and we are continuing to grow,” said Peder Jungck, vice president and general manager of BAE Systems’ Intelligence Solutions business. “The Georgia Cyber Center will help us expand our footprint in the region, while providing us with a new hub to attract the next generation of cloud, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity experts our nation needs.”

In November 26, 2018, NASA landed its InSight spacecraft on Mars after a six month journey to the Red Planet. InSight, which stands for Interior Exploration using Seismic Investigations, Geodesy and Heat Transport made the trip equipped with BAE Systems RAD750™ Single Board Computers (SBC) on board. The lander was built by Lockheed Martin in collaboration with NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory.

WB you are right about the dishonesty. I understand there are already about 700 miles of border barrier (fence) in place, which the democrats voted FOR in 2006 - including Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton. and Joe Biden. Not only that, but this fence was in place through the 8 years of Obama presidency without causing the Democrats any problem. So why is it suddenly a no-no for them?

WBecki - You are right. The total border is over 2,000 miles (That's roughly equivalent to London to Berlin and back haha)

Why does he have to have all of the money up front, far better to start doing something now on the most serious weak points, then apply for funding next year and the year after and so on. If any civil engineers are reading this please say how long it would take to do all of the border, I reckon even the biggest contractors (Bechtel etc.) would need ten years to finish it.

Also the democrats are reluctant to pay $5.7bn for a border wall, sorely needed,but are more than happy to dole out $15bn+ in extra foreign aid.
