I’m sensing a break through the placing price, a bit more momentum building imho

Yep, would be good to get back above the placing price. Plenty of positive noise about lithium (just try and ignore the morons in PREM..!)

With the seller totally exhausted over the past couple of weeks, the recovery in share price could be pretty quick, which often happens after a double bottom. We'll see.

Hi All,

Just having a look at this for the first time so apologies for my lack of knowledge!
Forecast net profits £13.9m for 2022 and £40m cash at the moment. Their website says stage 1 initial capital construction cost $420m. Debt facilities of $150m.

I can't see anything that says about completion of construction timeline (sometime in 2022?) and where the shortfall of $270m (not including net cash position) is coming from.

Hopefully minor points...

Thanks,

Jon

Currently a very attractive price considering the placing was at 45p a few weeks ago. I bought in through PB and have been averaging down since!

Over 41p to buy now. Don't want to speak too soon but the price action does suggest that the overhang has cleared.

Thanks. Chartwise, it would be good to establish the double bottom at 39p and hopefully move backup towards 45p, next stop 51 - but I'm probably getting ahead of myself here!

Well there wasn't a huge order sitting on the book. Can't tell if there's an iceberg because that's the point of an iceberg..

It's not well offered at all. Cantor with 10k at 40.5 and no signs of a big seller according to the broker I just called

Is this now starts to move up that will be a double bottom on the chart which is bullish.

Yes they are contrasting articles, but gods to read both sides. Lithium is one of the most abundant elements so new supply is never far away. BCN seem to have a more environmentally sound extraction method than the brine producers though which is another benefit. Can't be self righteous driving an electric car if the lithium used ruined the environment in Chile

Sorry, 4000 bucks a tonne is what it costs BCN so they are easily one of the cheapest

Interesting article this, it's negative for certain producers. Does anyone know what lithium price BCN are profitable at? I know their cost of production is cheap but can't find the exact figures https://amp.ft.com/content/14198829-bb4c-45b4-bc2c-a4594d6b3b41

It's in development, so newsflow will be limited to progress in that. What does the Lassonde curve suggest for share price trajectory?

There seems to be a line of stock available at 40p. Expect this will move up pretty quickly once it's cleared.
