I'm afraid I have lost patience. My source seems to think that a big deal is looking increasingly unlikely..and ay deal is still some way off. I am stinging a bit but I think its time to move on.

They are having a big meeting with some American backers next week. I am speaking without knowing any update on the bid for Sainsburys but I have a feeling that they are having to turn their attention elsewhere because Sainsburys seem to have turned things around. I hope to have some news when I return from holiday early next month.

a bid for Sainsbury's...lol! This company is rubbish imo. Look at Resurge for Mr Rowland's AIM record. Started well, but all went very pear shaped caused by over ambition. This IPO had a vastly inflated IPO price.
