NATO currently has about 20,000 military personnel deployed around the world, so not a massive number (the US all in has c 1m), but it's a decent long term contract all the same.

Yes - scratching my head how to value it. Presumably no monetary values as that will depend on what missions NATO does but valuable enough to be a 'RNS' rather than 'RNS non'.
I don't profess to be an expert on NATO structure. I know members have a 2% defence spending target but I thought they manage that themselves rather than NATO having a central budget. Perhaps NATO helps with procurement support, particularly to support the smaller players when they're involved in NATO missions (which could be a fair size)?
So a decent win and raises profile. Anyone with more specialist knowledge on how to value this one?

Nice 10 year contract.........

Avon Rubber is pleased to announce that Avon Protection has been awarded a 10-year contract by the NATO Support & Procurement Agency to supply FM50 mask systems, powered and supplied air systems, filters, spare parts and accessories.

Avon Protection anticipates receiving the first order under this contract shortly, with initial deliveries contributing to our expected Rest of World Military revenues for the 2021 financial year.

Commenting, Paul McDonald, Chief Executive Officer, said:

"I am delighted that Avon Protection's world leading expertise in respiratory protection has been recognised by NATO through this contract award.

This contract award reflects continued delivery of our strategy to further broaden our customer base and maximise the value from our current portfolio.

We are looking forward to partnering closely with this valued customer and supporting the wider NATO alliance."

Fuji the numbers you cite there are for the year ending Sept 2019. Since then the company has completed on its acquisition of 3M's ballistic protection business which delivered $85.4 mill revenue and $10.8 mill of EBITDA in the year ending Dec 2018 so you have to add your expectations for this business in. Plus you need to take into account the divestment of Avons milk business so there are a lot of moving parts. I don't think Avon is expensive at the moment considering its quality.

An excellent company but it is really too expensive.
In the midst of a pandemic where money is tight and economies in tatters, it is very difficult to justify a market cap of almost 1 billion for a turnover of just 170 million and a profit 13.7 million - Turnover almost a tenth of its market cap. This is considered a faultless growth stock which means that any hick up in expectations will trigger a ruthless correction. So IMO it does not justify its share price as it is. I am patiently waiting for it to correct at decent levels.
