igbertsponk: or it could meander about until the larger investors decided what price to put the next raft of dosh in at to keep the Board in clover.

sea and sky: justjill: I agree. It's just one of the indicators to look at I think. AVO is a good story but they have delayed and delayed and funding has been an issues so perhaps baner is right. However, I do think the directors have shown strength and not bottled it over the years, so I'd be surprised if they sold at the first chance to a bidder. They must have invested not just money but years of blood, sweat and tears too. To get a short term financial reward, when you consider what they could get eventually, would seem a bit er... short term (sic). As long as they can keep the funding oiled then I see this moving forward.

baner: One of the major players in this sector Will bid for AVO. Value - a multiple of the current level. When - as soon as first launch has proven successful. 2021?

sea and sky: maybe something in this report has triggered something. I don't have access to it but they do mention AVO as a key player... hxxps://bulletinline.com/2020/08/17/proton-therapy-consumption-market-report-size-trends-and-key-players-koninklijke-philips-n-v-advanced-oncotherapy-varian-medical-systems-optivus-proton-therapy-hitachi/

gclark: £55k of shares have been bought, and some, though fewer, sold, and the price has gone up by 16%. I am invested and like that kind of movement!

twirl: gclark>> Having previously attended AVO AGM several times I would say that visiting an assylum would be just as informative. I heard plenty of optimism - none realised.

justjill: Call mne cynical....on second thoughts don't! But a fund raise during a - hopefully short - period when all share prices have been hammered - was that really needed now? If so the co finances, not for the first time, are not being managed properly. So shouldn't we have a few job adverts in the "local gazette" Or maybe just a nice way to "help fund the company" and your own salary in many cases at a massive discount to the share price of just a few weeks ago. Nice one.

daijavu: It is strange that the post that I have responded to has disappeared while I was typing. I hope the contract is real this time and it does not vanish like all the others that AVO had. AVO once sold seven LIGHT machines and clinics to hospitals in China. They all fell through because AVO could not fulfill the contracts. The money that AVO received had to be returned. AVO rarely inform shareholders when they loose contracts. It was usually left to us shareholders to realise that the contracts no longer existed when all reference to them had vanished from the AVO website. I still have faith in the technology but do not trust the BoD. I am not parting with any more cash until I know that contracts have been implemented and AVO are receiving revenue.

daijavu: I'm sure that LIGHT will come into its own one day, once everything comes together. It could be this year, next year or in ten years time, or longer. Much longer. The main question is when. The BoD has been promising it for years and has consistently missed targets. LIGHT was supposed to be up and running years ago. Contracts were signed in the presence of Heads of Governments and with massive publicity. Large sums of money were paid to AVO in advances. All the contracts came to nothing and were cancelled and AVO had to repay the money. Chinese multi millionaires were appointed to the BOD to promote AVO in China but they disappeared. I question who will own the company and LIGHT when LIGHT does take off. Will it be current shareholders or will it be some Chinese company or even the Chinese Government? There have been so many promises that came to nothing one gets weary of hearing them. I am invested in companies that have made me a mint while AVO sits and does nothing.

daijavu: baner. It won't happen at that price because it would mean the BoD and other major investors selling at an enormous loss. It would cost them all many millions and none of them invested all their money in AVO to give it away at a fraction of what they paid. Especially not when it is on the cusp of making a lot more. The Care Capital/AVO share price was originally nearly 1000p and I would expect some of the founding directors to be looking for a figure more like that just to break even. I doubt if they would voluntarily sell as low as 100p or anything near it. The might play games with us and risk our money but they have been clinging to AVO like grim death. I can't see that changing or them selling out for a pittance when they are on the cusp of realising their dreams. Not unless there is no other way of raising cash and selling out for a pittance and accepting the loss is the only way of getting AVO to market.
