Aviva PLC (AV.LN) said Wednesday that its investment unit has decided to abandon the planned initial public offering of a new real estate investment trust.
Aviva Investors Secure Income REIT said it has made the decision not to proceed with an initial public offering due to insufficient demand, but added it will consider the possibility of a float at a later date.
In November, the company said it intended to raise 200 million pounds ($267 million) to invest in commercial real-estate assets in the U.K.
