Looks about ready to breakout here.

Above 300p and it could really start motoring.

Yea sounds like AISC will drop significantly and they sound confident on increasing life of mine aswell.

Great to hear.

Couple of interesting titbits from the webcast above:

Kokoya is unlikely to be acquired by ASO as its mine life is too short, so expect some other acquisition(s)

About 150-200$ of the AISC of 960-100USD/oz is due to catch up on waste stripping at New Liberty neglected by the previous management, with the implication that AISC will fall substantially next year 2019 if I understood properly.

I wonder if they are looking at HUM's Dugbe project in Liberia.

It is a fairly 'meaty' project with a c. 4m oz resource.
NPV (at last count) was US$337m but needed CAPEX of c. US$212m.

Given how HUM is already fully committed in Mali with Yanfolila it might well be a good time to either enter a JV or a complete sale to ASO/MNG.

With the substantial backing behind ASO I doubt Dugbe would present much of a financial challenge, particularly as the proposed mine will be a bulk operation, perfect for the strengths of the MNG group. Perhaps there would also be some 'economies of scale' due to their existing NLM operation.

"High impact" certainly sounds like they must be contemplating something fairly significant.

And the company must be confident that there is a lot of upside from the current price if they are happy to state on a presentation that the recent share price increase "is just the start".

New presentation on the company website:

"Recent share price increase is just the start driven by early believers and
strong Q1 production results

Potential for positive re-rating on the back of current drilling programs to
increase mine lives"

Didnt break 280pish yearly resistance straight off, but no doubt it will soon enough.

Gold price gearing up for a big breakout. And gold really capable of trending strongly when it gets going as per the last multi-year uptrend.

Great news for ASO if it does.

Agree leeman. This is doing really well. I wont be surprised with quadruple digit price here, with the grades and target of 500oz this year. Low AISC at below 1000 with current gold price 1350. Basically all looking good for as you say monster gains

Powering ahead and looking good.

A bullish sign when a stock is trading at a 52 week high. Usually bodes well for continued upwards momentum.

Worth noting the potential of the chart set up over 280p, blue skies and no resistance for a very long way up.
