2018 EPS forecast of 89p gives a 2018 P/E of just 2.95 at the current price.

Significant upside scope with such a lowly rating.

If you look at page 7 of the presentation here:

You can see that production from the Avesoro Holdings (private Company) is substantial. The graphic shows total production from the three mines in our Avesoro combined with the Kokoya mine held within the private Jersey company Avesoro Holdings is forecast to be over 400k in 2018.

Kokoya is also in Liberia and had a forecast production of 76k oz according to this presentation from Feb page 6:

(So it looks to me as if Koyoya has had its production forecast upgraded substantially, compare chart on page 7 February with page 7 April presentations

Anyway, if they fold the Kokoya mine into our Avesoro they would be over 400k, and I think that is the intention hence they keep presenting charts which include it.
That will mean more shares issued and hopefully a reduction in MGN share of the company.

Operations costs of 600 and gold prices nearing 1400.. Wow.. What a massive re rate will happen.. Been far too undervalued now we might see done movement to 600p + soon enough

The chances of them producing 500k ounces in 2019 are almost zero. The 500k is based on them acquiring an explorer which needs a mine building (done by ASO's parent company, hence the interest) and this will take well over 1 year to achieve and bring to full production, if it ever happens.

Hold this for atleast a year with gold on the rise, this could quite easily be £1billion+ market cap in the future.

A bit tricky to analyze due to related party activities but generating strong positive operating cashflows in Q4, easily covering financing costs and look set to improve. They do a lot of presentations which are really old school and pretty in style but no doubt helping as they communicate with institutional investors and perhaps clear up some of those RP/governance questions on the sidelines which I am sure they get a lot. Ultimately successive quarters of increasing positive operating cashflows and likely net profits in 2018 will be a game changer for the share price, this might just be the beginning of it.

Board of directors and management totally aligned with shareholders with significant skin in the game. 72.9% ownership is huge.

They are very heavily incentivised to increase the share price.

Gold strong today and looking ever more primed for a significant breakout.

If/when it does breakout then investors will be looking for undervalued quality plays like ASO.

Nice update, added more on the back of it.

A longer term hold and I can see multiples, and even more if gold goes higher. If board keep it up then this can easily be seen as a serious player.

On a quarterly basis slightly higher than production guidance of 220,000 to 240,000 ounces
So either production is going to fall back a bit, or, more likely IMHO guidance will be raised during the year maybe to 240 -280.
(Of course lots could go wrong, but they didn't say anywhere that the production would be weighted to the first part of the year.)

"Together with our near mine exploration campaign, which is well underway across the three mines, and delivering encouraging results which suggest the potential to significantly increase mine lives, we continue to strive to increase shareholder returns and end Q1 in a position of strength."
