06/6/2006 13:58 | they only raised money recently. it would be strange to do that then hike distributions. | oregano
02/6/2006 14:06 | Bit of buying interest yesterday and again today. We know that the preliminary figures ( coming 15th June ) are only in line with expectations, rather than above expectations, but perhaps the recent buyers have got a lead on the dividend. Myself I have always thought it odd that the house broker was only looking for a nominal 10% increase in the pay-out, given that the cover is so good. If say the payment was jacked up to 3p then surely we would see a run back up to last year´sw 125p high?! Anybody else considered this angle? | mesquida
04/5/2006 14:19 | on 8x earnings to March '07 for 13% EPS growth. clearly cheap, but what is going to break it out of this trading range? | oregano
04/5/2006 11:40 | nice trading statement | cambium
13/4/2006 15:18 | Perhaps some followers were hoping for a year end trading update, and not having seen one they have concluded that profits are not going to be significantly above market forecasts. But the fact is that the Company could still be working on the figures and a trading update could still come. Remember a Director was paying 100p for these not that long ago, and that same Director has been a consistent buyer since the de-merger. All the anecdotal evidence suggests that the Company will have had a good year. However, should the figures only match expectations, rather than beat them, the share price is still going to look cheap. This is simply a forgotten stock - perhaps the private equity boys should have a word with the management. | mesquida
13/4/2006 09:08 | Anyone in this one? Any clue as to why the recent (April 12th) drop? Thinking about buying in but not yet. | wonder boy
06/1/2006 18:59 | Something stirring in the jungle!! Suddenly it has become quite difficult to buy these in size. Suspect that we will soon see stock above £1 once again. | mesquida
14/12/2005 18:11 | Only watching at the moment Z. Got my fingers burnt earlier but still feel there's plenty of upside in these but don't want to rush in yet. | doubleorquits
13/12/2005 21:58 | Hi DoQ, For interest do you watch or do you own... ZZZ | zorija
13/12/2005 18:00 | Thanks for that info CR. I was only thinking today which stock that I was watching or owning might benefit from this. | doubleorquits
13/12/2005 16:46 | read further up the thread. I spoke to the FD and he told me they should benefit from the M&S EU tax ruling. ASO should be able to offset all their past European tax losses against UK tax. Could be a very big tax credit here imo. CR | cockneyrebel
09/12/2005 10:57 | Made a cracking reverse head and shoulders in that basin looking chart. Could be a very cheap stock if forecasts are correct. 10p eps forecast for this year - PE below 10 for a media stock and decent growth. CR | cockneyrebel
25/11/2005 14:54 | 'Avesco gears up for a bumper 2006' according to an article on citywire today. | riverdiver
03/11/2005 12:40 | They did last time and the PE was 9 I think. Quite a few stocks like this around the market waiting for the masses to discover them. | chef
03/11/2005 12:32 | If they are going to make the numbers then they are at least 50% too cheap. | spooky
03/11/2005 11:32 | results in just 3 weeks - forward PE just 7.5 - too cheap surely? CR | cockneyrebel
16/9/2005 07:37 | Tipped in IC this am :-) CR | cockneyrebel
08/9/2005 13:32 | Nice statement, think the visibility bit might have dulled it a tad but looks good still imo. CR | cockneyrebel
07/9/2005 23:48 | Ta teapreacher.. think these will be ok. Not a holder. Was reassuring for investors to see chairman buying shares at this level... Good luck | supreme mo
07/9/2005 20:54 | I think it will be upbeat. Cue Freddy - as soon as I post here he turns up like a bad penny. Don't you think the chart looks ripe for a move north Frauddy? CR | cockneyrebel
07/9/2005 19:52 | Let's see what the company have to say tomorrow. | doubleorquits
07/9/2005 19:35 | Thanks for the KBC news - doubleorquits - although cannot say that I am surprised as the City has consistently under-forecast this one ever since last year's demerger. If ever there was a case where it paid to ignore the analysts and concentrate instead on the Directors' dealings, then this is it! And in that context let us not forget that the last price paid by a Director was 100p. Of course this stock is going to 120p and probably quite some way beyond - the pattern of Directors' dealings since demerger tells you that - the only puzzle is why investors need highly paid analysts to spell out the obvious to them before they will buy!!! | mesquida
06/9/2005 23:07 | According to Digitalook, the AGM is on Thursday 8th Sept. | teapreacher
06/9/2005 22:47 | What date is agm?? | supreme mo
02/9/2005 11:19 | KBC have upgraded forecasts ahead of AGM I am hearing. Price target upped to 120p and ASO ready to thrive on HD technology. EPS now 10p for this year and 11.5p for next. Growth will take off I reckon during the next 12-18 months and these are beginning to look pretty cheap. On a PE of 9.7 and 8.5 they look cheap anyway. If growth is upped they will look really cheap against growth as well. Forward PEG as it is will be around 0.55 which gives lots of room for upside. AGM looks as though it could be positive. | doubleorquits |
