A little bit of a mixed bag, but given that that are trading at >10% discount to NAV the shares look cheap. With the olympics to come in 2nd half for the key areas which generate the vast majority of revenues /profit the outlook looks strong. A buying opportunity this morning.

QP - for clarity when you mention interim and final, you are of course referring to the dividend increase of 25%.

Apologies but interim dividend up by a jaw-dropping 25%.
I know it's hard to believe.

The Outlook is very strong indeed.

Frequently when an interim dividend is upped by a certain percentage, the final dividend follows suit or higher.

Rio gets a mention and the fly-wheel of the business, CT spins more and more positively.

Well done , Avesco.

A very nice candid approach to results pointing out the challenges as well.

In my opinion, excellent results and a major jump in revenue figures.

Very encouraging.

1/2 year eps flat at 13.3p, increased 1/2 yr divi by 25% to 2.5p [edit 25%]. Net assets of 230p

Avesco have informed me of this directly via Della Baxter. As I say it is scheduled for 9/6/16.

Sharescope had an unconfirmed date of 13/6 for q2 interims.

Yes took some more yesterday, usually see a good reaction around results here with them only releasing twice a year. Debt should be down with the 13m cash from the sale of the studio, and they seem busy. Currency wise has been good this year with most of profits from the U.S., also provides a hedge on brexit.

An excellent initiative to further harmonise branding across the Group. The use of the eye-catching Creative Technology logo will now be deployed at Dimension Audio.

Personally, I think this inspired and instantly recognisable logo would be of great benefit if deployed across the whole group.

I hope the brand-harmonisation continues across the other business units of burgeoning Avesco:-




The name Dimension Audio has been retained. I would also favour a name of Creative Dimension Audio.

The comments by Dave Crump in the link are interesting to read.
