The oncology sector in January post JP Morgan are having IPO's coming back to the market, at valuations which makes Avacta ridiculous cheap and the majors are out shopping. Avacta has Korean and US partners / deals and those companies are linked up with other major names as showed on the map.Avacta is a name that will attract much interest in the sector.

'Unicorn potential'

i.e. $1bn+ Market Cap

From current $50m is a 20 bagger minimum

That should be obvious from a single potential $300m deal with LG Chem

The only thing holding UK bios back has been Woodford situation causing extreme risk aversion and illiquidity aversion from UK Institutional Investors

Might take a few sector deals (i.e. US companies coming over buying up some names at big premia or some UK companies listing on Nasdaq) to break the logjam but it will happen eventually

Dropped due to the need to raise more cash imo. None of the good news has produced deals with much cash up front, and won't do until it's proven in man. If all goes well they should never need another fund raise.

Been researching this today well trying, why the price drop from over 40s to where it is today in past 12 months?Seen latest rns alot of room to growth with relatively small mcap and not too many shares in issueMassive buying this week and hardly any sells

Overhangs often offer great profit-making opportunities.

The selling temporarily depresses the price and lets you build a decent stake at a low level.

When the overhang clears, price is free to move up again on any buying. And the move back up can sometimes be rapid as buyers start to realise there is nothing to hold the price back any more.

"Overhang"means that there is a known seller , ie. an institution which for whatever reason have been selling, however just watch shareholder register and you will find specialist Micro Cap Fund PremierMiton is holding a chunk.

Yes, the buying is relentless.

If the same buying pressure continues when the overhang clears then the price should start moving higher very rapidly.
