10/1/2019 11:17 | This is a potentially £1bn+ Mkt Cap company of the future ... get the technology right and manage cash appropriately are the two challenges to get there. | the drewster
10/1/2019 11:12 | Yes, daft to sell just now imo when things only just getting started. The recent LG Chem deal, which is very significant compared with the market cap, is only just the first of multiple anticipated deals in the coming months. As Hardman notes, it was a "wake-up call for the market". $310 million potential for one deal. Multiple such deals and we're taking into the billions. Against a market cap of just £42 million. The mind boggles. It's easy to see why the institutions have been loading up around current prices. The comparatives highlighted in recent presentations show that just a little further down the line, similar companies are rated at multiples of the current valuation. And with M&A picking up in the sector and company awareness increasing, the likes of Novo Nordisk could well be considering bidding for the company. The story is just getting started. As per the Avacta tweet, "Looking forward to a great 2019!" | cf456
10/1/2019 10:34 | Would not sellYou will make 3x your money and then just sell cost | hampton58
10/1/2019 09:58 | They're not getting mine! LTH from 25p placing. | bscuit
10/1/2019 09:32 | Instis still loading by the looks of it. Delayed 50k buy @ 38p from 8:29 there. They seem happy to continue to snap them up from the small PI sellers. | cf456
10/1/2019 01:11 | One would assume there will be a post SF Biotech conference update and off course makes the upcoming Science day even more interestingStock will trade above 40 easily before FridayBuyer back tomorrow | hampton58
09/1/2019 22:29 | Impressive list 74tom. The instis must be keen given that they've tied up over 65% of the float between them and still appear to be adding given the recent block buying. Doesn't leave much spare for PIs and will result in faster potential moves upwards on good news given the limited supply of shares. | cf456
09/1/2019 21:00 | That list of institutional holders is highly impressive (and highly unusual) for such a small AIM company! | someuwin
09/1/2019 20:05 | @cf456, updated shareholder register on the Avacta website to Jan 8th; IP Group plc – 17.16% J O Hambro – 10.91% Baillie Gifford & Co Limited – 8.54% Lombard Odier Asset Management – 7.99% Carlton Holdings International – 7.28% Fidelity - 5.89% Ruffer LLP – 3.72% Unicorn Asset Management – 3.46% Mole Valley Asset Management – 3.01% TR1 awaiting for Lombard for their increase from 6.43 to 7.99 (they’ve continued to add since the 17 Dec, going from 7.64 to 7.99) And clearly further block buying yesterday and today, so we could have a new II buyer on the scene... Also positive to see that Ruffer haven’t sold anything since 17 Dec either, so the selling must have been the last of Aviva which appears to have cleared yesterday...happy days :) | 74tom
09/1/2019 16:28 | Mr 16374 couldn't even hold for an hour. He'll be kicking himself if another licence deal comes in tomorrow! | cf456
09/1/2019 15:58 | Institutions buying in again today by the looks of it with the large block trades. | cf456
09/1/2019 14:30 | Nobby - Thanks for correcting them - Eccentric - agreed sometimes, but historically for me has produced more gain and less pain!! | pugugly
09/1/2019 13:33 | Nonsense speculation as usual. I can confirm he bought in the recent 25p placing as I did. He just has a slightly eccentric take on things sometimes.... | nobbygnome
09/1/2019 13:27 | He missed the entry and knows full well there is huge upside here and is trying to scare weak holders into selling so he can get in at a lower price. Or, he traded the share badly in the past and doesn't like to see others make money on something he lost out on. Take your pick. Aviva may be reducing but Lombard Odier, JO Hambro and Mole Valley have all been buying. 3 buyers vs 1 seller. And the seller is in all likelihood out by now. | tromso1
09/1/2019 13:15 | Pugugly, you are blatantly trolling and offer no reason why Aviva are apparently ‘bright boys’ for selling, either post something constructive or jog on... | 74tom
09/1/2019 13:12 | 🤦🏼 | bumpa33
09/1/2019 12:57 | Avivia bright boys and taking advantage of PI buying spike to cut their losses - From rns after placing it does not appear that they fully particpated as % holding reduced but I have not - nor do I intend to - crunch numbers in detail. | pugugly
09/1/2019 12:42 | We will see 40 today, Aviva is history and new holders popping up .Watch the register | hampton58

09/1/2019 11:31 | just took another 20K shares here, cheers Wan GLA | wanobi
09/1/2019 11:22 | "Three solid day of meetings at the Biotech Showcase Conference during the JP Morgan Healthcare week in San Francisco. Lots of interest in Affimers. Looking forward to a great 2019!" | cf456
09/1/2019 11:20 | Aviva sold = overhang disappearing rapidly and soon to be gone completely if not gone already which indeed looks possible. Other instis recently buying likely to be sticky holders in for the long term = less free float. Lombard Odier - up to 6.43% from 4.63%. JO Hambro - up to 10.91% from 5.03% Mole Valley - up to 3.01% Price likely to move much higher on good news with no overhang and limited free float. | cf456
09/1/2019 11:17 | Aviva notification just out - down to 2.43% - on the 11/12. So I’d guess they’re out - or near as damn it - completely by now, assuming they were selling down to zero. | bumpa33
09/1/2019 11:12 | do we know, are Aviva looking to sell out completely?,,,, probably a stupid question on my part, I've not had much time to research the thread on the subject, apologies in advance if it is :-) cheers Wan | wanobi |
