LG Chem - The company is doing its best to become one of the best global pharmaceutical companies. Their words not mine. The life science part of the business is relatively new. For them to be interested in Avacta in my mind says quite alot.

75k buy on the bell @29p, £21.5k is decent money & there have been a number of these trades today. All helps to eat away at the overhang and get closer to breaking out :)

Avacta's. last funding was at 25pence (0,25 pence old Money)
A number of fund managers put some of their clients into the Previous funding at £1,20 .
I wonder why they don't show more trust!?

If there was a total lack of trust it is hard to explain how the Company was able to raise over £11m as recently as July. It will be interesting to see the market reaction to any news notifications of receipt of funds.

No need Wan seriously he was the biggest ramper for this stock once upon a time and has now lost faith and has moved on to other bets. Each to their own.

Hey Wan
If you are still watching, what are your views on the LG deal?

It's understandable to become cynical I myself have been here for sometime through all the ups and downs. I choose to have an open flexible mind on all outcomes. Next year is key for me here

Babbeler
My trust has been tested over time.
However, If this is such a bargain, with the share price down 5% today.
Why are the fund managers ignoring it?
IMO It's because they are gun shy of these vague statements from Avacta and I can understand that.
If there was truly 300+ million dollars attached to this deal Avacta would be the bargain of the century!

It's all as about the tech period. If it works then this we will rocket. That is what you are investing in.

That's my point about trust.
The vague deal details just don't wash anymore.
Serious investors are just not interested or selling their position.

If we had monies in the bank then it would be over a pound. This is not the case yet so the move is reasonable. Not sure if institutions will get to interested until the MC is over 100M with vwap holding around that area. Great area for PIs to take a position IMO

Sorry Babbler,
The Market does not trust Avacta not me I can't influence the share price
If the market trusted the LG deal without the revenue detail the share price should be over a pound.
Hence the selling.
Every Fund manager and MM has seen this deal by now and chosen to ignore it.

I think one catalyst would be Moderna confirming taking their lead Affimers into phase 1. That coupled with the LG Chem news may light the fuse ready of launch

LG Chem like them... That's for sure. Must have seen something they thought had a lot of promise. Imo.

From a technical point the chart is overbought on the daily and is outside the bollinger bands and holding up well so if we can keep these levels another leg up is very possible soon

If affimers work as they say then it's simply going to transform the company. It's only been three years since starting the therapeutic side of the business and results are now coming through. Diagnostics also showing fruit but has been longer in the making. At the end if the day it's about the tech. All about evidence and proof of principle

The Market does not trust Avacta because of its poor track record.
Along with its vague language when reporting deals.
If this technology was ground breaking the Americans would be jumping in with big money.
Building back the trust will be very difficult under the present management.
Therefore, sellers will persist.
