02/1/2017 10:57 | Its worth reading up on the MD - David Williams. Quite a talented guy - had shareholdings in a number of companies - started Marwyn Investments - turned one of their companies - Marwyn Industrials into Breedon Aggregates - and see where they are now! | butler4
02/1/2017 10:28 | Butler..do you have the link to the DM tip ? Thanks | webbski49
02/1/2017 10:13 | 20p target on these for 2017 | dlku
02/1/2017 09:59 | Should have also mentioned - Daily Mail has it as one its 6 top performers for 2017 - if that has any credence to the potential | butler4
02/1/2017 09:56 | As you probably all know the company has taken on a very talented group of senior business guys with the intention of transforming the company from a junior miner to a cyber security company and is raising the money for suitable acquisitions. - it is exciting times and this new company could be a ten bagger - could be a flop! At the moment the share price is a bit exaggerated - depends how you view the prospects. | butler4
02/1/2017 09:04 | Absloutely Puzzler....sure,thos | webbski49
02/1/2017 07:51 | geoff80 - don't forget the most recent fundraise: "On 21 December 2016, the Company announced a conditional placing of 150 million new ordinary shares of 1 pence per share at a price of 4 pence per share raising approximately £6 million (before expenses). A General Meeting has been called on 9 January 2017 for shareholders to approve the issue of these shares." I don't know what this fundraise is for, but presumably it's with some purpose in mind. | puzzler2
01/1/2017 23:48 | In October the Company completed a fundraise of GBP1.195 million pounds (before expenses) through the issue of 119.5 million new Ordinary shares of 1 pence. Also in October 2016, two of the new Directors subscribed for 10 million new ordinary shares of 1 pence per share, Total proceeds for the Company as a result of these subscriptions was GBP300,000 (before expenses). On 25 November 2016, the Company announced that a GBP50,000 tranche of the convertible loan issued earlier in the year had been converted into Ordinary shares of the Company, and that the Company has raised GBP25,000 though the issue of 2.5 million Ordinary shares of 1 pence. Not inclined to rush into these since so many shares have been bought at 1p. ie. apparently AUR is already a five bagger for some. | geoff80
31/12/2016 23:33 | Going to rocket soon | larva
26/12/2016 11:57 | Been here so many times There is nothing , at the moment, on which to base exaggerated euphoria - treat it as a business - a mine that is effectively worthless and a group of top business guys with an exciting idea - but no substance - tread cautiously! Believe me. | butler4
26/12/2016 10:48 | Absolutely loadsadosh. A real pearler opportunity. The management team thats been put together gives me the upmost confidence.Nothing is ever a guaranteed no-brainer. | webbski49
26/12/2016 09:48 | It's not often that an opportunity like Aurum comes along. I bought in after reading a small article in the Telegraph about the change of direction to cyber security. Apart from fairly small investments in more 'safe' investments, such as RMG and ITV and suchlike, I wait, many months, or even years (I'm in my 70's now) for the big one to come along. Aurum is the one I've been waiting for and is now my largest holding. I'm backing the management all the way. They appear top-class, heads of industry meets turnaround specialist, it's pretty damn close to being a no-brainer. The small investor can sometimes be stitched up but I'm putting my trust in this management team - their background is impeccable. I'll be interested to find out how they settled on 'Shearwater Group' as the change of name as there are several companies already with the name Shearwater here and in America. Not that it puts me off this superb investment. | loadsadosh2
25/12/2016 19:23 | As apodia says - the company has valuation of approx £18m and assets of £1m - the rest is hot air- at the moment!. The price is all in the speculation that the right cyber company will be identified and bought - if that does happen - happy days Pixi reckons sell and take the profit - no, I bought on the basis that the company has got some highly talented people on board and over an 18 month period or so it will have bought the right company(s) and will be developing them into major players But, its going to be a rocky ride and price will fluctuate massively over the next year or so | butler4
25/12/2016 10:15 | A very precise argument pixi.Unless you are desperate for the money, why not stay onboard and enjoy the journey? Happy Christmas everybody | webbski49
24/12/2016 15:05 | If you really believe that, why don't you sell now and make a profit? I'm sure the deep-pocket investors who've bought in at various levels won't mind, their eyes are on the target of making a success out of this. And why not? All they have to do, if they haven't done it already, is find the right target. Then the share price will really take off turning pennies into pounds. | pixi
23/12/2016 12:35 | Have been a holder for some time and following very closely - must admit that Im a bit nervous at the recent price rise - it's all based on hope and speculation - no substance at the moment - the mines are worth didley squat - the price is all in the expectations. There's a a talented experienced team being pit together - they will be under pressure to make things happen - the market will back them while all the potential is in the price - they make mistakes and the price will be back sub 3p - interesting! | butler4
23/12/2016 12:23 | looks like 10p will come in short order | ggbarabajagal |
