15/4/2024 11:58 | Smithie , is another shorter posting garbage. BOOM is an excellent company in a hot sector.Share price will either rerate or the company will get bought out at a significant premium. | z1co
15/4/2024 11:53 | Shaun Wilson, formerly of Spotify and Sony Entertainment, joins as Vice President of UK Sales. Shaun is returning to Audioboom, where he previously held the role of UK Head of Sales. Again important appointments. | sharebag01
15/4/2024 11:52 | With The appointment of Molly Hogan Harvey and Shaun Wilson, they will bring in some vital experience. Molly, formerly of SiriusXM and CBS Radio. This is no small appointment. | sharebag01
15/4/2024 11:44 | Imo never ending poor results from this company. Paying podcasters a fixed amount, & a big sign on fee & "then" trying to find advertisers to pay to put adverts on those podcasts, what a stupid business model imo. It starts with a loss from day 1 for a new podcaster, which it hopes to reduce to breakeven, to start with. ----- One new podcaster is Arnold Schwarzenegger's daughter. Her podcasts are about being a parent etc. I'd rather watch paint dry ! Has BOOM paid her a sign on fee ? Any yearly fee ? ---- Q1 "...adjusted EBITDA(1) profit of.." Adjusted EBITDA, I don't think I have seen that being called "profit" before !! Profit is not, imo, adjusted EBITDA. 'adjusted EBITDA (1)' is that alone & nothing else. And since the value is so marginally positive it surely means that the PAT is a loss. ----- For 2023 Operating loss of 2.4m$ Admin. Cost to produce that result ? 14m$ =16m$ loss ! Before all the other losses. Various losses due to onerous contracts. CONCLUSION ? Complete incompetence imo. (Doing contracts is one of the main tasks of the company. Business model is to sign up podcasters & to sign up advertiser's. Usually using contacts. And they can't even get that right !! | smithie6

15/4/2024 10:38 | So as mentioned it was all down to Q1 and even though we have an more than decent forward looking statement and a healthy revenues in Q1 - the figures were not as excellent as some expected hence the drop. But it just gives another opportunity to add to existing holdings or average down reading between the lines, I see a healthy rest of the year and improvement revenue's. I will be looking to add on dips for sure. | sharebag01
15/4/2024 09:53 | If the share price does not rerate this year then the company will most likely be bought out at a significant premium. That's exactly what the management are also saying. From today's rns: We are confident that the structural growth of the medium and the sharp increase of the Total Addressable Market will lead to M&A activity reigniting during the next 12 months. Audioboom's business model, structure and performance continues to provide strong optionality on our future path. Our global scale and ownership of technology and commercial services will make us an attractive proposition for major media or technology businesses looking to fast-track a leadership position in podcasting | z1co
15/4/2024 09:49 | Cavendish reiterate 1,300p price target. As Audioboom scales the platform it is developing its attractiveness, in a podcast M&A market where there were acquisitions at 2-10x EV/Sales by mega-cap tech and audio tech peers between 2019-2022. Audioboom’s audio tech peers are trading on 0.5-3.3x 12-month forward EV/Sales with 0% to +25% NTM Sales growth, and its ad tech peers are trading on 0.2-17x EV/Sales with +1-22% NTM Sales growth. We value Audioboom at 1,300p based on 3.6x FY25E EV/Sales, and at 303p it is trading on 0.9x 12-month forward EV/Sales with +18% NTM Sales growth. | z1co
15/4/2024 09:30 | Parob That March revenue of $6.7m is an excellent achievement. If the company can repeat or even exceed that over the next 3 months that will be brilliant. Most likely they will , from today's rns: I expect the revenue growth rate to accelerate through upcoming quarters, and EBITDA profit to grow accordingly. | z1co
15/4/2024 08:58 | Whoever the large seller was for months should be cleared soon imo.An opportunity at this level to make good returns in the medium term imo. | jungmana
15/4/2024 08:48 | The main figure I'm focussing on today is $6.7M for March and I reckon the market will do the same over the coming days. | parob
15/4/2024 08:45 | Looks like the faithful here have been had. | festario
15/4/2024 08:40 | Presentation this afternoon: Stuart Last, CEO, and Brad Clarke, CFO, will provide a live presentation relating to this trading update via Investor Meet Company on 15 Apr 2024 at 3pm. | z1co
15/4/2024 08:36 | Both fivers or just one? | site manager
15/4/2024 08:36 | Possibly looking at something like this:Q1 17.1Q2: 19.923 (new record)26Total: 86 | parob
15/4/2024 08:34 | Money moved to GNC | blackhorse23
15/4/2024 08:25 | Q2 will no doubt will be far stronger than Q1 for the company to achieve or exceed $78m revenue for 2024. | z1co
15/4/2024 08:18 | Over this coming year I expect our revenue growth rate to improve further. We have more than US$55 million of contracted revenue for 2024 from advance advertising bookings, and we are perfectly positioned at this stage of the year to deliver our goals of record revenue and adjusted EBITDA profitability. | z1co
15/4/2024 08:17 | It would be interesting to see the monthly breakdown of revenue. It could look something like this: Jan: $4.8Feb: $5.6March: $6.7Then you're looking at 15%+ growth month on month. | parob
15/4/2024 08:15 | NT to buy at £2.60 | z1co |
