Hopefully things are moving positively behind the scenes with clarity very soon on the AAA potential offer. Any 900p the offer is valued by the market at 200p cash and 12.5 AAA shares at 55p.

Wooty01 Thanks for that link and a nice article, which as you say, highlights the transformation from Niche to more mainstream acceptance to podcasts within the advertising industry. Bagpuss

Yes rather have a few in a company that has so much presence, despite the awful vagaries of the London market. IMO

BOOM reported H1 2021 revenues of $22.8 million (+93% on H1 2020), so Full Year 2021 Revenues could be $50 million. Then $75m for 2022 (within 16 months) and $100m for 2023 (within 28 months). The longer they wait, the higher the takeover price will be (whoever the offer comes from) so a win-win for shareholders.

My use of cretin uk London is aptly displayed in vengeful's post. And also the trading this morning. You will come to your own conclusions as personally I'm tired of people raking up past events rather than looking at the present and future. The AIM market stuffed up both major corporate deals by not valuing the company on a fair basis. Just as now the price is not trading on a realistic or comparative basis. Audiboom is doing well if it's "limping" along in USA in 5th place.

What people seem to wish to overlook is that this company has repeatedly failed to deliver on the transaction front over the years. Whether it was the aborted US reverse takeover or the appointment of advisers to market the business for sale in USA they have not delivered. The AAA 'offer' is so conditional as to be pure smoke and mirrors. AAA was delisted at the request of the AIM team and the reason they are talking about relisting on an international exchange is that UK exchanges are closed to them. Looking at the AAA advisers, Egremont Capital the international exchange they seem to have links to is in Cyprus, hardly NASDAQ Yes BOOM is a good company but it is woefully undercapitalised, the ACAST research report made clear they have £100m of cash to buy the best talent, the other major competitors to BOOM all have deep pockets while BOOM limps along on small revolving loans from its directors To really see if BOOM can fulfil its potential go and raise £25-40m at new share price and get busy. The problem is that the existing shareholder base of BOOM is woefully thin and overlaps significantly with AAA so there is no real market in the shares. The only two disclosed institutional holders are EDGE and HERALD whereas one would expect people like MITON to own 5-10%, DOWNING the same, these shareholders are necessary to provide long term support

ACAST is quoted on Stockholm exchange. Valued by a new Barclays Analyst note at SEK5bn which is GBP420m. Revenue is about 50pc higher than Boom but not EBITDA positive until 2025. Boom is EBITDA positive. Boom has to be a minimum value of GBP300m based on all similar metrics of ACAST. That's GBP20. When will the cretin UK London markets wake up.

From the LSE blog: "Boom are 5th on the average weekly downloads. However, more importantly they are 4th on average weekly users. Wondery are ranked 8th on average weekly downloads (Boom having 57% more average weekly downloads). Wondery are ranked 7th on average weekly user downloads (Boom having 65% more average weekly user downloads). Wondery was sold to Amazon in Dec 2020 for a price believed to be at least $300m by the Wall Street Journal so Boom’s value should be a lot higher than this and no one should let a bunch of opportunists steal Boom on the cheap." Boom market cap £144m ($198m) and far better on the metrics. Plus there are few quality candidates left out there making it even more attractive. Absolute peanuts for a big player.

According to Boom RNS we should here AAA's plan by 10th September. The board have certainly heard something of AAA's "initiatives" which has then interested.

Have AAA given any indication when they intend re-listing and where? I've seen the comments regarding NASDAQ but nothing has as yet happened? Obviously the offer, assuming its still on the table, is at present rather difficult to evaluate given AAA current situation.

I've seen many talking £15 as a target from another suitor using the AAA bid as leverage- but we don't know how much the AAA shares will be worth on relist. That massive raise at a premium of 80p - participants are surely expecting value of more than 80p for AAA shares... The offer might be worth £15 or more when all is said and done...

Bagpuss and PMT writing a lot of sense. Next 3 weeks are crucial. Keep positive and investors will get more than GBP15. Agree that if the market isn't quoting around the GBP12 level by 10th September then no incentive nor necessity for AAA to up their offer.

That's why I'm in favour of the bid and want it supported! Get to GBP12 in the market and we're probably going to get nearer GBP15 or more.

Agree totally with your summary. Let the AAA bid ride and see what happens on 10th September deadline. Not sure AAA will improve bid, perhaps more cash. But if doubters stop selling then price might get to nearer the offer and AAA might be forced to improve or another interested party could be tempted. But for sure whilst the price "languishes " twenty five percent below the offer then not much prospect of getting better terms.

I would have thought that anyone who didn't want to risk owning unlisted stock is now out and with a potential Nasdaq listing for the suitor the offer is looking more interesting however that still doesn't make the price offered right. Decent gamble now that the listing part of AAC now seems a bit clearer and the price now has a bit of a floor from figures that where released and lost in the mess surrounding the offer.
