The way stock is being bought back in chunks this is looking like a major short squeeze imo. Could last a while longer if the suggested 2m is to be covered…enjoy.

I'm thinking the same timeline Amelio. By the time the Q1 results come out in April the company might feel confident enough to confirm that a divi will be paid at the end of the year....?

Lovely move with volume growing. Needs liquidity as been lacking a bit recently.

But everyone loves a breakout and even more a gap fill ;-)

Share pick of 2024. Comfortably bags from here imo. By end of Q1 is my estimate.

The future for boom is bright than ever been;"Across 2023 we have made improvements in key areas of our business in order to accelerate our path back to growth. Our milestone of creating 1 billion sellable advertising impressions in October is the result of changes to our inventory creation process, further development of our Showcase marketplace, and the continued growth of the Audioboom Creator Network. This positions us to capture maximum advertiser demand, deliver more than US$19 million of revenue in Q4 2023, and puts us on a path to record annual revenue in 2024.As audiences continue to flock to podcasting - highlighted by the record 126 million plus downloads across our network each month - we are optimising for the current advertising market, while we are also primed and ready to take full advantage of any future macro improvements.Further operational optimisation, particularly improvements to our creator contracts which increase our share of advertising revenue, whilst vastly reducing our exposure to minimum guarantees, are expected to move us back to adjusted EBITDA profitability in Q4 and drive EBITDA growth in 2024."

Market cap was GBP 300 million just 18 months back and today sits at less than GBP 40m .The Company generating more revenue and growing at a decent pace. In every year from 2017-22, its revenue growth outperformed the market, and as it scales Showcase and capitalises upon advertisers structurally increasing spend on podcasts, we expect it will be excellently positioned to outperform the market in FY24 and beyond.

Perhaps, but the key point is that ultimately the company can't be held responsible for the possibly shady actions of some of its shareholders? I don't really understand the whole saga but I can't see it having any influence on the company, at least in the medium/long term.

Currently 14% and largest shareholder... FCA are all over the potential MAR breach.. Along with investigating several brokers who may be complicit.. Jarvis and IG central to those enquiries allegedly.

As soon as we receive the Q4 trading ahead of forecast (which I highly expect will come) a return to EBITDA positivity and a stabilised cash balance this becomes attractive to many more.

In the meantime onwards and upwards :-)

I agree and think that there could easily be a 10p maiden divi in 2024 with more in 2025, assuming the growth in revenues continues.

Well if this has been shorted from 2200 it would explain the crazy drop to 135p but what an opportunity it has created to enter at rock bottom prices, which we’re still at imo.

In terms of getting a good price, any acquirer will be better off moving sooner rather than later as the rise has some decent momentum behind it now.
Personally hoping for £4 BEFORE any offers are tabled. Then hopefully a 100%+ premium.

We have recently been told:

Strong start to Q4 2023 with anticipated revenue of at least US$19 million, the Company's HIGHEST revenue quarter since Q2 2022 and representing a return to year-on-year growth on a quarterly basis.

Going into 2024, they are expecting RECORD annual revenues and a move to STRONG adjusted EBITDA positivity:

“The Company anticipates record revenue in 2024, with operational improvements (including the significant reduction in minimum guarantee obligations) delivering a return to strong adjusted EBITDA positivity.”

So revenue in 2024 likely to be $80M+ as an absolute minimum imo.

It pinged the 200dma an obvious target to sell for some.

But for me the gap fill has just started.

"The Claimant (nick candy) failed to disclose to the Court at an ex parte hearing on 25 July 2022 (the "Without Notice Hearing") that 2,000,000 of its shares in Audioboom had been pledged to the Bank of Singapore in February 2022 for which the Claimant received £30,000,000 in cash; and Moreover, the Claimant has consistently refused to confirm and or deny that other Audioboom transactions were entered into, or that through third parties, deliberate short positions were created once the Claimant had received this cash from the Bank of Singapore."

You have to be really careful with this one.I traded it from 170 to 220, but.. When the offer shoots up, the bid rarely moves, and it goes NT to sell all the time. Feels like a trap above 225p
