08/12/2023 09:48 | Took them from a single digit £m company to £1B+, sure he made a handsome sum. | amelio
08/12/2023 09:04 | Yeah how much did he make from Telecity? | parob
08/12/2023 08:15 | Out of cash I highly doubt :-) | amelio
07/12/2023 23:45 | To ins buying at very high levels prevented me from taking very decent short term profits.Director dealing not always a good. Indicator & perhaps he is now out of small change ,having built up a decent stake? | base7
07/12/2023 11:02 | Next leg up and we try and close the gap imo.Like the way the chart is shaping up. Buy the dips always the way in uptrends for stocks you like for the long term. | parob
07/12/2023 10:59 | I think we will see some buys come in if the offer drops to 215p. | parob
07/12/2023 10:49 | Yes, the push to reduce minimum guarantees to creators will also be a boost (or at least a risk reduction) in 2024. | cyberbub
07/12/2023 10:22 | A repost of someuwin's post 6952 re recent Cavendish note.A few bits from Cavendish note 02/Nov/2023: Ticker BOOM:AIM Software & Computer Services Shares in issue (m) 16.4 Next results FY Mar Price 132.5p Target price 1300.0p Upside 881% Market Cap £21.7m Audiobooms investment case -As we explain in more depth in our initiation, Audioboom is capitalising upon the structural growth in podcast advertising, through leveraging its highly scalable, cloud-based platform, and its strong relationships with leading podcasters. In every year from 2017-22, its revenue growth outperformed the market, and as it scales Showcase and capitalises upon advertisers structurally increasing spend on podcasts, we expect it will be excellently positioned to outperform the market in FY24 and beyond. ...Crucially, our Q4 and FY24 revenue growth of +4% and +21% do not include an improvement in ad pricing beyond current levels, and instead reflect managements efforts to win new podcasts, new inventory from existing podcasts, and expanding relationships with a diverse range of larger advertisers and demand-side partners. Any improvement in the macro environment will then drive upside to our revenue forecasts, which will gear strongly to adjusted EBITDA and cash, as management are acutely focused on reducing minimum guarantees and optimising revenue shares for new and existing podcasts. We look forward to Audioboom capitalising on its strong foundation through robust operating and financial momentum at the Q4 update, the renewal of key podcasts on attractive terms, and new podcast wins. | parob
07/12/2023 10:13 | Yes he’s bought on the way down. Now Audioboom’s share price has quite clearly changed course and is forming an uptrend. Why would he not be buying at these levels, there’s no rationale other than the possibility of a closed period. That coupled with the recent Cavendish note which came out shortly after Tobin’s last purchase has fuelled the rumour. | amelio
07/12/2023 09:50 | He has been (check RNS) but now it's 42 days since he last bought so there's speculation that some kind of news might be forthcoming (due to him being inside and not currently able to buy).Let's see what the next few weeks bring. | parob
07/12/2023 09:40 | He bought all the way down, why would he continue to buy on the back way up? | fs360
07/12/2023 09:31 | The absence of Tobin’s buying becomes more evident by the day. Audioboom is probably in the best shape it has ever been in so I see no valid reason why he wouldn’t be purchasing at these levels unless discussions are ongoing in the background. | amelio
07/12/2023 09:30 | Reading the most recent RNS I’m expecting GP margin to grow in 2024. | amelio
07/12/2023 09:30 | Indeed Parob - Tobin isn't here out of the kindness of his heart IMO | cyberbub
07/12/2023 08:57 | Lots of experience in exits. Taken from Michael Tobin's website:I am now focused on supporting businesses to achieve successful exit strategies and work with multiple businesses at different stages. Recent exits include:Pacnet a subsidy cable operator owned by Ashmore Capital, which we transformed into a datacentre operator and subsequently sold to Telstra.Itconic A datacentre and managed service operator bought by Carlisle as a carveout from Schneider Electric, and subsequently converted into hybrid managed service provider and leading Iberian datacentre company and sold to Equinix Inc.Datapipe The Gartner Magic quadrant hybrid cloud provider based in New Jersey, successfully sold and rolled into Rackspace.Basefarm An Abry owned asset providing hybrid cloud solutions, successfully sold at a significant premium to Orange Business systems.https://www. | parob
07/12/2023 08:56 | Exactly my point Parob | cyberbub
07/12/2023 08:54 | This is getting very close to my top up price. | parob
07/12/2023 08:54 | Q4 this year cyber-- Anticipated return to adjusted EBITDA profit in Q4 2023 through acceleration in revenue and consequently reduced exposure to creator contractual minimum guarantee obligations. | parob
07/12/2023 08:09 | The company needs to cover $15M admin expenses and has a gross margin of 20%, so needs to make $75M or $18M per quarter. And we're now at $19M for Q4 with a promise of "record" revenues in 2024. So we should be into profitability in 2024, hence the statement of a possible small maiden divi. And the huge number of users and downloads will definitely be of interest to a bigger fish in their own right. The onerous contract is a bit of a pain, they've made a provision in the last accounts but it will still be bleeding cash every quarter for the next 6. Someone probably got their backside kicked over that! But I don't think it's losing enough to threaten to company's cash position, and I'm hopeful (based on the commentary in the interim results) that it might start to lose less money as the advertising market recovers? | cyberbub
05/12/2023 19:56 | I think there was issues with LSE today likely contributing to the low volume too. | mrsqueezy
05/12/2023 18:29 | People are on the side line waiting for results in early January? I can't see them being anything other than as per guidance. We talk about an acquisition which is expected. General low values are making a laughing stock of the London Stock Exchange. There will be plenty of offers coming forth for companies whose market value is totally out of line with usual metrics. Audioboom being a prime example. | wooty01
05/12/2023 18:20 | Liking the consolidation on low volume. No pressure selling - the longer it sits around this mark the stronger the next move. The possible closed period continues to be talked about and the next few weeks likely to reveal something imo. | amelio
05/12/2023 16:04 | 40 days now since Tobin last bought. Very unusual. What is everyone thinking? | parob
04/12/2023 21:04 | Small rise adding to consolidation at 220/225 level. Looking for a close above that 230 mark for the breakout and gap fill. Shaping up nicely on the chart and can’t be far away now. | amelio
04/12/2023 10:13 | MELE, come take your mrs man, she is trying to spend my boom gains, I told her I am not selling but she won't let up.... | mustafa15a |
