I think the first slingshot on price will be at Q3 results, (around 15th Oct). The next one will be at FY21 results, ( sometime mid Jan 2022).

I also expect a forecast upgrade at Q3 results.

£10 share price will as usually present s small resistance as some people will sell at the magic £10 >>>human psychology once we break through that then we can set sail for higher valuation.

Top value at moment is USD 400m. Based on a metric of 6x 2022 revenue of USD 66m. That's just under GBP20 a share. Let's be happy with that City C

Companies need to know what they are getting, future revenue potential, when bidding. This was a factor why they were not willing to pay our asking price, even though there were a lot of interest, when we last put ourselves for sale.

Once revenue and profitability has been demonstrated, then I expect many of the podcasting majors out there to start putting a bid.

That makes this year's financials interesting not just for us but for potential acquirers out there.

Based on August 2021 data, it means that we are heading to a FY22 profit of over $6M. Advertising space is a sector that will always be there as companies need advertising. Podcasting as an advertising medium is bound to keep growing.
That makes us a target: profitable podcasting business that can easily be scaled up to whatever level you want.
Also having demonstrated profitability we can list in US market which knows how to value business based on future growth and profitability potential rather than what it is delivering now. [ We have proved our growth an profitability].

And underscored by Mr Tobin continuing to accumulate showing he is very confident in Boom's prospects.

Just wondering when someone like Google will come in with a $1 billion bid, as suggested by Zak Mir a few years ago. The longer any bidder waits, the higher the price they will have to pay. A great win-win position for shareholders.

Wooty,

I am not averse to BOOM selling the company, I just wanted to know what I am getting for my shares. If they had offered a £12 cash I would have seriously thought about it and may even have bitten their hand off.

My personal view was that I would not have invested on any of the companies that is currently owned by AAA, so why force me to an accidental investor.

As for misjudging the mood of the market, I have done that on many occasions. If we all got it right every time, we would all be billionaires.

Wanted to give you two thumbs up but not allowed Buggy. I've been wrong and misjudged the market feeling and reaction on the AAA bid which has been aptly commented on here by most. The recovery is astonishing. The best thing out of all this is no one can criticise anything to do with the company performance. A binary choice such as the offer always creates a conflict of views. Onwards and upwards to the mid teens when I may let a few go, having never sold since the original IPO.

We are recovering quicker than I thought after getting rid of the drag by AAA opportunistic approach.

Thought it may take more time for people that sold in fear of AAA taking control of the share to buy back.
If like me they have moved the money elsewhere then some may not be able to buy back in, while others only a fraction of what they initially held. I suppose it presents an opportunity for others.

A business that is profitable and is slated to make about $6M profit next year. Having now demonstrated its capability and a clear line of sight to how the profits will be made, Stuart can now consider listing in the USA. He felt that to list in USA market you need to first be able to demonstrate a clear route to profitability.

It's good at least that they saw BOOM as a 'solid' company as you put it.
Though it only confirms what we believe of course.

On a side note.
I do not think AAA will list on any market soon. They needed BOOM to provide them with some gravitas, currently they do not have any investment in their stable that will justify their 80p per share.
They cant pull off a float at anything close to 80p a share with what they currently have, so the choice is to still go for a listing a a significantly reduced price or remain private. [ That is also why they have not activated the OTC trading they promised since 10th Aug....that may show up the price weakness].

After 2 months, if they had not managed to convince BOOM management, who are well versed on podcasting business nor an independent adviser of the merits of their offer ... says it all.

On a human level however I feel for the PI that have a holding in AAA. They will be left nursing a worthless paper until such a time that AAA deems that they can get off a meaningful float, but they need a solid company to underpin their float if they want to float at a reasonable price.

If the AAA share holders exit the share price will drop significantly. AAA buyers have pushed the stock from 200P up tot 1000p earlier...

So once again CAndy and acolytes prove ineffective at getting a deal done, however asit was a poor deal for BOOM SHAREholdersgoodriddance.
Interesting article yesterday in TIMES about MIKE TOBIN Boom Chmn who has launched a 150m SPAC in Dutch market
Hopefully now the AAA shareholders will depart and leave Tobin to turn up the gas on this company. At some time I am confident he will engineer an exit, probably PE backed buyout

I dislike the title of ALNC's version of RNS.

If read quickly it could mislead.

Loses could be mistaken for losses ,when we know they had a record August!
Again the comma is practically lost on my small screen.
