Read the original RNS: "ATG will not receive any proceeds from the Placing." So the gross proceeds is referring the amount that the two private equity groups have raised through the placing...

Maybe I am misreading, but since it was a secondary placing I don't understand their 'raising gross proceeds' statement has any relevance and no war chest as far as I can tell. ... unless anyone can shed any light on it?

Agreed. Watching now.
Sold out at the spike yesterday.
From 800p to 1600p, seems like it's due for a pullback IMO.
But probably have it all wrong!

In case you missed it, BlackRock increasing again...

4.83% to 5.75% and now to 7.44%. A bigger increase this time for them, at around 1220p+.

With the CEO and CFO having 50K each @ 1220p, I reckon this will elastic back to 1300p in the not too distant future, at the very least.

Quality RNS's coming out.

BlackRock increasing.
Caledonia Investments increasing.
And the CEO and CFO having 50K each @ 1220p (presumably that was in the placing).

And raised 244 million for a (hopefully) quality purchase.

Looking for some significant medium term upside here. Steal a deal right now!

BlackRock increasing their holding by almost 1%.

If that was on 18h June, then they were buyers at around 1300p.

Look forward to this story unfolding over the next year or 2.

Cheers

I think a lot of trialing stop-losses were triggered today.

People wanting to keep their profits after a great 2 months.

In general the sells are small volume.

With the acquisition on the horizon, backed by 244 million pounds of mainly institution money @ 1220p, surely this is the dip to re-invest some of those profits back in here now for the long run...

Cheers

There's a massive trade of 1.2 million @ 1291.74p.

That's 155 million poonds!

Is that linked to the placement?

Surely not a sell with today's share price

Maybe a delayed sell?

Or a wonderful buy!

Maybe an RNS coming...

With the recent placing at 1220p raising 244 million pounds, I think this has to be a decent entry or re-entry point.

I was in off the SCSW May tip, I liked the sound of this one and have done well over a couple of months.

I'm not really a trader, but thought I would have a go at selling out on the spike with this one...

And like many charts, it spiked and has dropped.

Of course, the placing didn't raise the full 525 million USD though, so it didn't convince everyone!

With the 1220p placing giving some serious support, I think this represents a good re-entry or entry point.

I sold out of these this week, above 1300p.

Personally (selfishly!) hoping for a pull-back now so can get back on board...
