Atalaya Mining Takeover Rumours (ATYM)

GMA and nice to see ATYM begin to motor....if a takeover happens, then hopefully at least other shareholders will demand a decent price, but until then copper price heading back over $4 IMO/DYOR.....should bode well for underlying EBITDA / Cash & therefore yield especially as costs should also be heading the other way! DYOR

Need to correct what I said above : under the new takeover rules that govern us, I believe any possible bidder who builds a stake in our company, so for instance if Trafigura were to buy more shares above their current stake, would they need to probably make clear what their intentions are by market authority or possibly be subject to PUSU , put up or shut up. However, a mandatory bid not triggered until over 1/3 capital. IMHO.

Reminder: I think the deadline to vote through your broker could be today, so please vote against domiciliation in Spain. Reason: 1. a 19% with holding tax will be applied by Spanish (non recoverable if stock in your SIPP or ISA). 2. even if we stay in Cyprus (for now) it will not prevent the move to the main board (away from AIM). 3. being domiciled in Cyprus means we have anti hostile takeover measures in place 4. Management said if Spain rejected they will look at alternative (back to UK? this was originally their 1st choice).
