24/11/2020 17:02 | Some shenanigans going on here for sure.. :o) I have a feeling that the 190p and 190.13p repeatedly printed now are both sides of the same trade moving stock inter funds or between IIs.. | laurence llewelyn binliner
24/11/2020 16:46 | Indeed the bid dropped and then 1.6m + 600k buy also at 190p. Some funds realigning ? Just need to sit tight. | vish65
24/11/2020 16:28 | Maybe seller has cleared? | qs99
24/11/2020 15:30 | Definitely lives in its own micro climate this share. All the big boys are motoring today.Just idly pondering whether to place Spain in the developing country sector. | husbod
24/11/2020 14:31 | #nedludd, volumes are usually pretty slim most days but this month we have so far had 4 days over 1M, and yesterday was 2.5M at c190p, I believe these are institutions/funds buying/selling to each other and pretty soon they will be declaring.. A few trades for 100s or a 1000 shares at 185p are largely irrelevant, but they do none the less drag on the share price as they are filled.. 3.5M printed today and hopefully we will see some TR1s soon.. | laurence llewelyn binliner
24/11/2020 14:14 | I tend to rely on the more knowledgeable here for the figures and assessments and thank you all those who add to my knowledge. I am a little more pragmatic. What is the share price, or what is my holding worth today I ask myself. Unfortunately I am still making a loss, that`s what matters to me. Copper is almost at a five year high, I believe, yet the share price is nowhere near its peak of over 260p. Those with more sophisticated information than I tell me that buys are being shown as sales. Does that mean we are being cheated and the share price is being manipulated lower so that "mates rates" can be offered to some buyer? We PI are not important, I realise that but are we being stitched up, I ask myself. Sorry for my cynicism but the "reverse side of the coin" has to be looked at occasionally. | nedludd
24/11/2020 13:31 | Another 2 interesting trades printed 400,000 at 190.13p 400,000 at 190.13p On the back of the 678,628 at 190.13p printed yesterday, part of the same buy/sell ..? which conveniently adds to up about 1.4M .. again.. :o) Inter fund buys/sells I suspect, and they must getting closer to declaring now.. | laurence llewelyn binliner
24/11/2020 13:20 | Watch the copper price. Also look for the first signs of another”commod Even if it is only financial journalists talking about it then it should still feed through into a much higher share price in Santa’s rally | erric
24/11/2020 11:49 | yet shares are off, maddening share this! | qs99
24/11/2020 11:27 | Trades going through at 1.91999 are buys showing as sells. | rogash
24/11/2020 08:09 | Copper price moving up again it seems....DYOR but all helps ATYM and CAML bottom line! | qs99
23/11/2020 16:32 | #Brockwl2, interesting indeed, with Fridays 1.4M trade printed at 190p and today so far we now have: 250,515 at 190p 500,000 at 190p 678,628 at 190.13p Total 1.4M and change.. Sooner or later these parties or funds will have to declare.. :o) | laurence llewelyn binliner
23/11/2020 12:28 | So another 1/2 million shares changes hands this morning. Clearly for the moment, this is all about the big buyer and seller, and PIs have little affect on share price. At some point, presumably when one of them is finished, this will break one way or the other. However for now it appears we have stalemate. GLA | brockwl2
23/11/2020 08:13 | Copper holding up well and $ looks to be starting the week in a weak position, DYOR, but hope that combo helps ATYM/CAML to motor forward this week. GLA | qs99
22/11/2020 17:30 | Last time copper was at this price ATYM share price hit 262. June 2018. Same company, much more mature in its development, making ever increasing amounts of cash and the share price is 26 percent lower. Markets a funny thing. | mip55
21/11/2020 21:50 | I am going to guess it was a buy The last time ATYM hit 190 (briefly) was mid September. A large sale would have been at a discount and this looks to be at a premium over the market price in the last couple of months (including the silly season at 150)! Recently, the share price has been rising, despite sales and not on any volume. The alternative explanation is a matched transaction and the other side may pop up shortly or perhaps a TSX transfer? | charlieeee
21/11/2020 12:06 | LLB. Appreciate the info. I would think it is more than likely a Fund/II but I feel more comfortable when a Fund buys rather than sells. You are more "Au fait" than me as to how the Market Makers work although I understand why,in this instance, you came to your view. Like you, I am very interested how things pan out next week. Thanks again for replying. | nedludd
21/11/2020 11:15 | #neludd, at that holding size, I would suggest that it was a fund/II although it could be a PI but unlikely, when buying or selling as their holding size cross thresholds every 1% up and every 1% down to 3% of the share capital the holder has to declare what they have after the transaction to the market via a TR1 doc, this is mandatory.., that 1.4M represents 1% of the company so it should trigger a declaration unless they are already under 3%, I looked through the latest ownership, and it could only be 2 funds if it was a sale, if it was an inter fund sell/buy then they will most likely both have to report.. Why is it good for the share price .?, once the order is filled and printed as it has, it is no longer being worked through the market looking for a buyer(s) which could have been holding the price back as it was being filled.., with the low volumes we see an order that size could have taken a month to fill.. MMs work in opaque and mysterious ways, but as I understand it they generally keep a flat book meaning they do not buy stock, sit on it and try to sell it later, it is in and out so they are not exposed to too much risk.. Once a fund is under 3% it is anyones guess what they do behind closed doors, but a 1% holding change should trigger a declaration somewhere soon.. Hopefully we will see the results on Monday.. :o) | laurence llewelyn binliner
21/11/2020 10:50 | LLB. I would be grateful if you could explain as to why the £3m sale might be good for the share price Also when you refer to a TR1, is this the Land Registry form used in Conveyancing or something else. Thanks. | nedludd
20/11/2020 17:00 | Yes LLB - 1.4m is about 1% of shares in issue. Copper still heading for $3.30 very close now.. | robmcelf2
20/11/2020 16:30 | #RP... have you noticed the volume yet....? 1.4M printed at 190p.., [and 3.30/lb copper], are the brakes about to finally come off now that order has been worked through..? something has been holding the share price back, and will we now see a TR1..? | laurence llewelyn binliner
20/11/2020 15:35 | Copper bounced off the 5 year high again at c$3.22... Onwards and upwards... | rougepierre
20/11/2020 11:29 | Very good post if I may say so saintb and very much reflects my view. That's probably why I think it's a very good post. | husbod
20/11/2020 11:28 | Great to see copper sustaining its rise. See if we can push on to $3.30. ATYM should have very strong finish to the year at this rate. Keen to see drilling results that were due end of Q3... | robmcelf2
20/11/2020 11:27 | Copper price looks to be squeezed again...DYOR | qs99 |
