17/1/2020 14:54 | Ah Mr O you forget that despite the infinite number of disasters etc afflicting our world the man (for He is a man) with the long white beard (or goatee if he is in fact a woman) spends an inordinate amount of time watching my investment strategies and as I must have upset him millennia ago in a different guise he makes sure that if I don't buy a stock it goes up and vice versa. This has happened on so many occasions over the last 30 odd years that it simply must be due to divine intervention and the ATYM price movement over the last couple of days is merely a modest example there of.I trust this clarifies matters. | husbod
17/1/2020 13:25 | Husbod , that makes no sense ! Your buying would help its upward trajectory! 200p looking cheap now. Best luck ..... seen your comment , I am onside with you !!!!!!!! no jinx lol | mronions
17/1/2020 12:40 | Cheers Mr O - in order to ensure the share price continues its upward trajectory I will not top up for the moment. | husbod
17/1/2020 12:08 | Short + Husbod , pay 200p for stock now ... what this is 240p plus you will look good | mronions
16/1/2020 21:18 | Laurence Llewelyn Binliner Thank you for your edit. The article is very positive and it suggest a successful conclusion is imminent. | scargs
16/1/2020 20:12 | Laurence Llewelyn Binliner Are you saying that the Spanish article posted by robmcelf2 says that the AAU issue will be resolved/sorted in a few days? Scargs | scargs
16/1/2020 20:04 | #robmcelf2, great find.. and reassuring to read, -in a few days-, that is just what we need after a great production year, and an even better beginning to 2020 with 55-58,000 Tonnes guided.. The new Junta minister for mining is also an ex EMED director, so I am sure they are busy ironing out whatever administrative oversights there were on the last AAU.. :o) On top of a phase 1 US/China trade deal yesterday which should be kind to Copper while phase 2 is thrashed out for later in 2020 post Trumptons 2nd term win.. Speaking to journalists in Riotinto (Huelva), where he has visited the mines and the Mining Museum, he has assured that the activity of this Huelva exploitation, owned by Atalaya Mining, "is not going to stop" and has announced that the Environmental Authorization Unified (AAU) processed by the Board will be resolved "in a few days". [edit] My Spanglish converter came up with -in a few dates-, not days.., so we will have to read between the lines here.. | laurence llewelyn binliner
16/1/2020 19:32 | The good news is that the Vice president of the Junta has just assured everyone publicly that the Riotinto mine will continue to operate normally until AAU is awarded. Nice to get the reassurance after the scaremongering.https | robmcelf2
16/1/2020 19:17 | That's certainly part of the reason why I've greatly reduced my holding. As previously stated I just can't see any reason for big upward movement here for a while so I reckoned I would be better off allocating my resources elsewhere for the moment. Which luckily has proved to be the case.Hope I'm wrong and things can change very quickly of course so I'm still holding and will add if the various issues start to sort themselves out. | husbod
16/1/2020 18:17 | All the people I know that were in here left due to AAU.Maybe they (and I) will come back when it's sorted - but not before! | shortarm
16/1/2020 16:52 | Have to say that the Junta is taking an awfully long time to sort out what we all believe, after being told as such by the company, to be technical administrative issues.Nothing really new in the update, hence the muted market response.Need Cu price to rise materially and on a more macro level we don't seem to be seeing the wall of money that is supposed to be flowing into our undervalued market. Compare and contrast the Dow. | husbod
16/1/2020 11:45 | I agree Onions in that clearing Astor would be great. I get that it does n t make business sense at the moment, but investors like clarity, and this would provide a bit more clarity going forwards | leopoldalcox
16/1/2020 10:19 | With a distressed HF seller, this is a good time as ever to buy as likely to get stock without ramping the price. All is very well as far as copper production. We basically have a new mine given all the work + improvements. Touro may be slow, therefore Atalaya pit and other adjacent resources may be more likely expansion. We could always eventually buy a new assets or merge. What I would like to see is Astor settled ... unfortunately it makes business sense to delay payment as long as possible (as we have an interest free loan agreement), unless Ash agrees to some sort of deal (which so far he has not). After Astor sorted we can then focus on other small improvements that will mean a lot for us and share price : dividends ; move from AIM (I hope all work in progress). There is also the AUU/Junta/EcoLGBTveg | mronions
16/1/2020 09:39 | I'm surprised there is no market reaction | leopoldalcox
16/1/2020 08:23 | Good update | leopoldalcox
16/1/2020 07:23 | Good Q4 production update. No nasty surprises. Q4 output record, 2019 total Output as per guidance, ramp up to 15mtpa complete, no early clues on Q4 costs, exploration continues with positive hints there, don't expect disruption from AAU rio tinto issue, 2020 guidance still forecast to be 55,000 to 58,000. All good | robmcelf2
15/1/2020 18:56 | Phase 1 US/China trade deal done on schedule 15.01.2020, now lets see a steady rise in Copper for us to sell into, and with the Q4-2019/FY numbers due about now, alongside 2020 guidance.. :o) | laurence llewelyn binliner
14/1/2020 23:51 | The share price has massively lagged the copper price over the last few months, even more than atym usually does. I have to think that until there is some legal clarity here we are in a rut. 2020, if we get some progress there, could be a great year here | leopoldalcox
14/1/2020 21:34 | I see the MMs still have their sense of humour - now showing an 8p spread (for me at least). dudam; was looking to add a fairly nice chunk - nothing to put our friend rp to shame but would have been the biggest trade yesterday - only offered 196.5 though so I passed. I've only ever used electronic trading, currently with HL so thanks for the tips. ATYM lagging the uplift in cu as usual and would have added today if I'd found the time. Good luck all, read somewhere that commodities do well in an maturing bull market - can't find it now - any one heard that before? | jwafc
14/1/2020 16:41 | Buying at 196p into the close today, now lets see if we really do get a phase 1 trade deal signed up tomorrow .., and if our Q4 results land on the same day as last year..? An update on Tuoro, the AAU status would be most welcome, confirmation of 2020 guidance at 55-58,000 tonnes will be the cherry.. :o) | laurence llewelyn binliner
14/1/2020 15:43 | Seems to be a consistent seller currently. They are not selling at any price, just selling into any strength. I'd guess it's still the fund who recently went from 5 to 3%. However it's having a hold on the price currently. Once they have gone, or any decent news and it should move. Not convinced it's too late to add, just not long left. Lee | brockwl2
14/1/2020 11:57 | Some good news... | rougepierre
13/1/2020 22:00 | LLB, I think the permits at the moment are the most important issue...... | stockknobjockeyvanbookstino |
