I was surprised by the price collapse of Rangold but then again I shouldn't be. Miners (or any company) with high levels of debt in a rising rate environment and with mines in geographic regions where the rules keep changing, explains a lot.

What a journey it's been as a LTH here since the early days of acquiring all the land, putting it together, through the full permitting process to get operational in 2016 @ 5.0 MTPA, then our first full year @ 9.0MTPA and 37,000 Tonnes of Copper in 2017..

10 years as a buyer now keeping sight of the bigger picture and the company this could evolve into over time, as it grows with an established revenue stream from PRT, a strong Copper price to sell into, a forward project pipeline, an established BOD and all the backers needed in place to make it happen..

Getting into a position where we can now unlock the earning potential of PRT as we scale up is quite an achievment for a start up, then to add Touro, and possibly a Zinc project too..

A $1-2BN MCAP company first mooted so long ago does now look achievable as we steam towards the 90-100,000 Tonne goal.. :o)

Dividends in 19/20 after the PRT expansion..?

#waterloo01 - we are a relatively high cost producer @ c$2.00/lb, BUT, when you consider the $1 producers are in such high risk places in the world, from floods/earthquakes/cyclones/union disruption/remote inaccessible locations with no power, and on top of all those risks are the local governments who through covert theft aka expropriation or just change the rules as you start to make money, and slap new permits on you with their newly created 'taxes'.. Freeport/Grasberg had to divest 50% of the company to the Gov to keep their permit.. Spain is just fine in comparison..!

Well the share price has not only held but increased during the market turbulence and a falling copper price is a very strong signal. $100m EBUTDA this year, no debt beyond Astor and growth both in the existing resource but Touro (which looks a similar size to PRT or bigger) and other irons in the fire.

Edit: Also in CAML but to a lesser extent.

I hold a few; used to have a lot more but got bored!

The machinations behind the Copper spot are unfathomable, so much smoke and mirrors with stock/inventories in China and the day traders just doing what they do.

But, the fundamentals are robust, with demand rising, supply falling, and there are 40 south American companies / mining unions and their workers looking to negotiate their new salary rates in 2018 which will inevitably result in some strikes and production outages.., Esondida only kicked the can down the road, they didn't resolve anything..

Copper will do what it does, we are but passengers ..:o)

The best part of a Million shares were bought this week by a hungry buyer(s), perhaps a collective of Bats as they appear here with their predictable timing, negativity and misinformation to try and trash the share price and loosen up some weak hands ..!

Exciting times as we build the company into a multi mine, multi metal business..

Thankfully ATYM share price no longer tracks the copper price.....down from recent highs of 3.31 to about 3.04. We even seem to have shrugged off the recent global pullback and are within 4 percent of a 52 week high (I hope I don't get to eat those last words!)

The indexes across the pond took another big hit yesterday, Asia last night, 2nd in a week, contagion underway, could this be the start of the next unwinding..? -10% from the peaks already, another -10% correction to go..?

Great post on Traf / QP . I gave it some pulse crypto currency so the post now appears along side VALs at the top.

If any sellers out there in EMED / ATYM , you can find buyer volume (again) today.

I got a bid for 70k at 188p (by doing a dummy sell).

My largest lump is 72k in an account , so could not test my 103 k total position.

If anyone has a larger position in one account, please test that bid to gauge appetite.

All said, never before could I get a bid for over 100,000 GBP in one print.

Granted the PR machine does lack outputs on opportunities to promote the company Reba, but they really can't comment on press speculation on permits/licenses applied for, it's normally best to wait until they are offered or not and report the facts..

The company is up and running, scaling up, looking at new projects, and has already acquired Touro and we have the backers it needs to do it.. they really don't need to bang their own drum, and can just let the results speak for themselves as the BOD gets on with building the company..

Exciting times tho', the company has said they were looking into a Zinc project..
