So why is the largest shareholder buying back 3% of the company at double the current price?Also, the value of a company is based on the next 20 years of cashflows not 1 single year

The carmaker generates little cash but has almost 850 million pounds of net debt and lease liabilities. the company capitalizes almost all of its development costs, instead of expensing them in its profit statement – can’t paper over these flaws.

So apparently 8% of the shares are short but the free float is only 20%. Meanwhile the largest shareholder is buying back 3% of the stock at 1000p , most probably all of which will come from the 20% free float.So I can see why hedge funds went short at 1500p or even 1000p but being short now makes little sense and will be difficult to cover

Price? Yes a lot. An 11 month avalanche. Nothing stopping the drop only 'percieved supports'.

I can't find anything fundamental either bar bad news all round for them
