The sewage is here already, the whole world is full of corruption, it's just comes down to where everyone draws the line.

I agree Tony. If we shunned Russian/Chinese money it would be interesting to see the negative effects it has on them too. A lot of sewage would bubble up to the surface, financially. That sewage would have nowhere to drain and would have to stay in those countries for their authorities to observe.

I don't see that happening much now, but China taking Taiwan cold be the end for AML, as it's a huge growth market. Halting trade with China, similar to Russia now, would mean a huge market disappearing overnight.

Yes, you’re right - but I was actually thinking from a car-purchase perspective. The days of borrowing against equity are numbered now. According to the FT today the days of bent Russian money going into London property are numbered too (if you believe the gov will really show their teeth). The market for rich peoples toys is going to get smaller.

Agreed, who is going to lend AML any cash in this environment?
Not even bondholders imho.
Ken (CFO) timed his exit perfectly.

Look at a company like Saab. It was easy-money that killed them as cars like the BMW 3-Series became more common than a Mondeo. The opposite could happen here with this luxury brand, as money becomes hard-to-get.

I disagree, inflation and rising rates could be AML's demise.

The kind of people that buy Astons aren't worried about the rising rates! The only threat to AML currently is war.

AML is very risky in a world where money will dry-up for a lot of people as rising rates burn the shirt off their backs.

And it wasn't market manipulation when it rose from £10 to £23?
Funds are selling the most risky assets, which AML most definitely is.
They need to cover their losses from exposure to Russian investments which are a write-off now.
But you cack on and buy some more AML, let us know your average price.

It's called market manipulation. Yes Aston would have gone under in 2020 no DBX nothing

The net debt has risen exponentially since stroll took over, tell us all how that could possibly be 'a million times better than in may 2020'.
Sounds like desperation to me.

And that was a sell btw. You think there was a buy that size and the shares dropped 6%? haha.
No-one is buying.

The last time it was around these levels was before Lawrence got involved. The company was about to go bankrupt. Use your brain. It's a million times better then in May 2020 DBX wasn't even launched then. Buy and hold out we should recover back to 1200
