pwal, where are directors seeing the value?, I can't see it but as they are running the Company you would hope they are better placed to make a judgement call on that. I've mentioned a possibility of a bid, you could make a case that AML is worth more to someone else?. That looks the speculative buy case to me.

Not sure the non-exec director is so happy buying at £19 though.

Only short term upside is the faint possibility of a bid.

You keep saying you look forward to results, then they are hideous and you immediately look forward to the next set of results! Q4 includes the bond interest repayments, so I have no idea why you are looking forward to them. Valkyrie has hit the skids too, it doesn't look like many (if any) of them will be included. Moers says it takes 6 weeks to build the carbon fibre tub for them, with 260 needing built it will take over 6 years to build them all!

amazing that AML share price is so high for a company making big losses although I assume it will make a profit eventually . The chart shows a clear downtrend and looking to keep heading lower sadly .

Swiss tony creates hate over a proven minimum three BB , this one , LSE and Germany and you think this fake poster had not a real motive and real problem. This is more than just share buying, and debate

There's no real hate or conflict on this BB.Everyone is entitled to their view. One chooses to either listen or ignore. My view is positive for AML.

A bid is a different story though, I remember Stroll putting somethig in place to stop any hostile takovers. I don't see who would pay a premium to take them over, Stroll himself renegotiated when he took over 18 months ago because the share price dropped so much, creating a better deal for himself. Would you pay a premium for a company losing £250m+ every year, court case hanging over it and no growth? The turnaround is a year old now, so green shoots for me at all.

Interesting though Essential. Equity holders sit behind the bondholders though, so it's worthless buying equity if that is the game. If this goes bankrupt again, only bondholders will be able to scavenge the carcass. Another reason I hate the fact the bond holders are undisclosed, never heard of that before. Might you have a link to that article please, can't find it on google. Cheers

Tony, wonder if that large director buy is a "bet" on AML succumbing to a bid?. Not holding and did warn before the listing, posting what turned out to be an incredible bearish call be a FT journalist. AML - Beware a private equity wolf in sheep's clothing, was from memory, the title of that article. Also noticed from around my own area, Weybridge, far fewer Astons on the road, in comparison to a few years back.
