@Swiss Tony, was just looking at your comments on 27th Aug re: the ‘Swiss Chaps’ and this court case.

Just from what I read, the potential hit is £15m and even during the last investor call I believe the guys said they’re still on target to hit the targets regardless of how that court case falls.

Basically those Swiss guys took early deposits and paid AML who in turned used it in the development of the car. The deal was they’d get some additional commission (not royalties because that’s totally different). The rub here is the Swiss guys were apparently taking that additional money directly from customers too - which is what Stroll & co have an issue with. I don’t believe they’re going to paying the Swiss guys ongoing for every car made, that would assume that those guys somehow own some IP on the car - which they don’t.

Correct me if I’m wrong, always respect your opinion.

Bentayga sales in the covid year of 2020: 4140
DBX sales in 2021(!!!) will be around 2000-2500 based on run rates from Q4 2020, Q1 & Q2 2021.
Matching Bantayga or Urus sales is a pipe dream, sober up chaps!

Sport & GT sales will be 2500-2600 (half what they were in 2019), so total sales based on H1 run rates are around 5800.
No chance all the Valkyries will be shipped before 2022 so I fully expect that number to drop too.
The DBX is keeping AML alive, but hardly the runaway success Stroll makes it out to be.

It’s a classic claim and counter claim case, not going to worry myself, £15m already in this years numbers

Thanks for the info Swiss. Let's wait and see. I'm convinced sales of the DBX will increase inline with those of the Bentayga for Bentley. Will know 4th Nov.

Nope, Palmer signed a deal with the 2 Swiss guys, under the condition that the Valkyrie would not cost AML or it's shareholders any money. So the deal was the Swiss guys funded most of the R&D and AML would pay back through sales of Valkyrie, Valhalla and Vanquish.
Hence why I said profit will be a long way off if they lose that case, as they will then have to pay the Swiss with every car sold.

AML are paying £25k for EVERY car sold on the debt interest, hence why they are loss making.
Paying someone else more on top of that would not be good news at all.
In, fact, it would virtually guarantee AML never making a profit.

Stroll just ripped the agreement up and and is now suing the Swiss guys.
I highly doubt that AML will win, the law is the law.

I thought they were only talking about deposits? That doesn't amount to a lot.

No one commenting on what happens if AML lose the court case?
I reckon it would dent the share price by 20/30%.
Stroll can kiss goodbye to his ebitda positive by 2024... without a shadow of a doubt.

It doesn't matter what Stroll says, he lies and exaggerates all the time. The city need to see action, not words.
The share price has more than doubled since bankruptcy was staved off, that's a decent and fair move.
I'd say the price is about right.

After all the cost saving by Moers, AML is still a loss-making company churning through cash every month.
The Valhalla was unveiled as they DESPERATELY need the deposit money, don't get fooled by the propaganda.
Still massive problems with Valkyrie construction and of course the court case.

What do you think will happen to the share price if AML lose that court case, and we find out how much money AML have to pay the 2 Swiss chaps, as they funded development of the Valkyrie in a deal Stroll just ripped up?
Everything is not rosy, far from it, this is still on a knife-edge and could go either way, and it's priced accordingly.

Have to say, the press around these two ‘new’ cars has been good, but I’m a lil surprised we haven’t seen more volume and a bigger uptick in the share price I mean, Stroll has said all the risk is behind us, no more funding required, the cars are getting rave reviews, the fundamentals are moving in the right direction. What more do we need? Seems like the next test for analysts is becoming EBITDA positive???

Maybe JP Morgan are more astute than we think, with the share price heading towards £17 ;)

Another huge sell of 40k shares today, that's £760k, ouch. No wonder it's being walked down.

JP bringing up the rear again.
Nothing easier than following a rising share price with a lagging price target!

I think the key thing about JP Morgan is that they’re back in the ring analysing the stock. They’d stopped covering it a little while ago, so their revisit can only be seen as a positive.
