ASOS Results are definitely NOT ok at all.

To swing from making over £106 Million in Pre-Tax Profits to now making a Pre-Tax Loss of £15.8 Million is absolutely horrendous.

The stockmarket was NOT expecting this at all

Results ok and not a disaster as some feared. Who knows what H2 holds inc BoD. I think holidays, events and weddings will have provide a nice uplift this year. Good to see pre tax profit of £14m when analysts expected £8m. What we needed to avoid was any hidden nasty surprises and there wasn’t one. I think the analysts will see this as a management team who know what they are doing. Maybe a relief rally today.

ASOS does NOT need or want Boohoo.

Why would ASOS want to take on Boohoo's $100 Million Californian Class Action liabilities ???

Im hoping to be pleasantly surprised

Young adults have different priorities to the older generations,

They always will have the latest phone etc no matter what the cost of living is, because to them that is a part of living.

Fast fashion could be seen the same, it is a necessity for some people and if competitive pricing can be maintained, ASC and BOO will scoop the market. It's the highstreets who will once again suffer.

Slapped down again, certainly it out of the woods yet, what concerns me is the markets are probably going to head south to reflect rapidly rising rates, which will affect online spends as household budgets tighten with rapidly rising inflation

Will keep on watch for now
