31/10/2008 12:06 | Whe4to Yes it is very tightly held it would seem from, the last couple of days price action. No meaningful volumes about and with the reduction in mm's no one wants to be the one left holding the baby so it seems to be that they accept the trade at NMS and then run. Shore Capital have gone from a bid offer spread of 0.25 - 1.25 to 2.0 to 3.0 in 3 days on not great volume. Strange days indeed but then when you see footsie 100 stocks up and down 10/20/30% in a day and intraday nothing seems strange anymore. This could well fall back or it could just as well push on and double again for no real reason other than momentum and availability. Just look at Volkswagon for what happens when shares are scarce. I'll enjoy it while its here. GT | goonertone
30/10/2008 16:50 | GT...once we make our maiden profit and this appears on investors radars, it won't take much to send this into orbit, very tightly held stock! Good luck. | whe4to
30/10/2008 12:10 | Wow 2nd on the risers list today. i don't get to say that often on any of my shares. GT | goonertone
03/10/2008 19:08 | GT...spot on...bring it on.spoke to Gordon on numerous occassions...proper top bloke...very shrewd as well, therefore good news him adding!! | whe4to
03/10/2008 16:00 | Oh well I doubt Gordon Ashworth was reading this thread. For those who don't know the set up their Gordon Ashworth is effectively the finance director at Asite so today we have Finance director picking up shares. When this does finally reach profitability and rerates then I think it will just be me , wheto, flc and the directors who will benefit as there appears to be no one else interested. 03/10/2008 14:41 | Oih can whoever keeps nibbling away at the offer stop it please. I'm waiting for my protected rights fund from my old pension to be transferred in to my SIPP and I could do without people pushing the price up prior to then thank you. GT | goonertone

25/9/2008 06:15 | Hi, new here. Any suggestions on those short term better buys? | longterminvestor2
24/9/2008 14:07 | wheto re your non purchase. Small caps are a mare and I see your point but if you then have to pay 2 or 3p at a later date your 28% increase wont look so bad. Was the 1.25 a fixed quote or the online offer. Obviously the problems with bidding for volume always seem to raise their head. Maybe you should visit this thread and join their revolution. 24/9/2008 14:02 | After attending the AGM this morning I am fairly heartened that this will deliver value over the coming months/years. Being the only shareholder there did mean I was outnumbered but i did manage to ask a few questions and get some clarity on some matters that I had been wondering. RT wasn't there so the question of what he wants to do with his loan long term couldn't be asked but most there that I asked seemed comfortable with the position. The fact that the AGM was at R2O's offices speaks volume for his commitment. The license model now seems to be bearing fruit and opening up opportunites for selling within companys that had previously worked on a contract basis. The main thing that I gleaned was that the development work that has gone on over the last few years to improve the system has all been passed through the P & L account and will continue to do so. The intangibles will be completely written off this year so next year there is an immediate £200k drop in profit. Ebitda will effectively become pre tax. If the increase in volumes continues next year then i expect the small pre tax profit for the full year this year will become £500k in 2009. Recent funding for aconex and the mooted float of BIW both pitch valuations at 5-7 times turnover. This would value ASE at £10 to £14 million. With losses a plenty to set against profits for a while then on a PE of 12 which is fair for a company growing at 30% you get a valuation of £6 million. Somewhere in between would seem appropriate. Market cap currently £1.6 million I did raise the point of liquidity of shares and spreads etc. The initial remit for the mgmt team especially Tony Ryan was to get to profitability. This has now been done and going forward the possibilties of share consolidations, house brokers etc to improve the marketabilty of the shares. All in all the company seems to be going the right way with a small but committed team who all like ourselves believe that the company is currently mispriced. Eventually once it makes pre tax profits it will hit a few more radars until then just spread the word. GT | goonertone
23/9/2008 23:00 | Good set of interims. Asite seems to have turned the corner with expected full year profitability. Only way is up from here. IMHO | flc
23/9/2008 22:09 | Tried to buy £5k at about 9.30am when quoted 1.25p, when delt came back with 1.60p, had to laugh I said " do you realise that is 28% more, are you joking" obviously I didn't deal. Biggest problem with this share, they try to rape you every time!!!...News in right direction, still not as good as I hoped, never mind, as always let's wait another 6 months??? | whe4to
23/9/2008 15:57 | Thats more like it. Only 300% to go and I'm back in the money. GT | goonertone
23/9/2008 13:28 | L2 is amazing Three are on the offer at 2 with the last one at 1.25. The bid is three at 1 and 1 at .25. Who's right and who's wrong?? GT | goonertone
23/9/2008 13:25 | Interims are out. Sneaked out at 12.00pm though not sure why as they are pretty good/not that bad depending on how you view these things. A pre EBITDA profit for a start, gp margin up to 80%, sales cost reduced significantlywith overall cost down a fraction. All in all right track and with RT locked in till 31st Dec 09 we should be profitable and cashflow positive by the finals. AGM tomorrow so hope to quiz them a little more on prospects. 22/9/2008 15:19 | Asite competitor (Australia-based but active in UK, Europe, Middle East) gets £49m private equity investment | gresty
15/9/2008 22:41 | Thanks GT. | whe4to
15/9/2008 20:37 | I was told by the company that they aim to have the accounts out prior to the AGM which is on the 25th. GT | goonertone
15/9/2008 20:05 | GT where have you heard results out next week?? | whe4to
15/9/2008 12:07 | I was going to post re todays drop that I should have stuck to blue chips but looking at some of them it wouldn't have made much difference. Not sure whether this is a leak from next weeks results or just a lack of liquidity and a few sells sends it down. Not enough volume to be the first I don't think so might just be people clearing out construction related stocks from their portfolios. Next week will see whether I put them in the bottom drawer collection or wait for the recovery. GT | goonertone
