Nice post Sojourno. I'm keeping this on my watch list for now. Something is afoot, and i'd also like to see further details before making a commitment.

Looks like a fundraising of some sorts is quite likely. Obviously there's great potential in wider China than just HK (Dongtan eco-community/Shanghai?), and HK is slowing down. The more cash AGP has for expansion at it's disposal the better so I think I'm inclined to wait 'till plans are revealed. Property assets of £110m and cash of £46m, 217m shares 80% held by SEA and still buying makes the share price look cheap at 45p though. (However, that kind of discount was a continued bone of contention for the old TTG investors btw). Seeing as SEA clearly want as many as possible, that makes me think voting rights and therefore probably a share issue (the sooner the better!). In saying that though "The company expects to derive the majority of its revenues from the development and subsequent sale of developed property assets." implies any fundraising would be considerably less than £100m. There doesn't seem much point in trying to calculate anything more until we know how much cash is needed but another 100m shares issued would retain a majority for SEA but at 40p raise £40m and still give a NAV of 60p offering good value to PIs.
Don't go thinking I'm an expert on this btw!

With 83% of the shares held via SEA there can't be much of a free float?

what do people think on the future of these shares?

Think i may buy myself a few. My portfolio is 100% oil and mining at present. I wanted CREO but before i could get any the fireworks started. At least these guys have assets and are valued near NAV whereas CREO has a MCAP of £120million and £60 in the bank!

when the city boys find out about agp, they will rush in, then see agp rocket. just wait and see.

75% of the shares are held by SEA, I take it for the long-haul which leaves few in the market.

Maybe a better way to get exposure to the Chinese Property Market than CREO which seems all over the place and now has a MCAP of double their cash and no assets????

Any thoughts welcomed

IMHO fundraising due sometime, that's my impression from pre-listing notes. I guess it would greatly enhance expansion into China. Lots of potential around Shanghai/Dongtan.
Real market value is 38p (Ref SEA buyback). Historically original equity's MCAP (Trans Tasman) always 20-30% below NAV.
Watch. This is the better half.

Yes I got that bit. Not sure how it fits into the bigger picture of "The Small Investor Can Win". Holdontight seems to think there is a much bigger problem on the ELA thread. I was hoping he would explain given that he seems to be kicking up a fuss.

Seems more like an ADVFN issue rather than for the FSA

ADVFN...BE WARNED...THIS INCLUDES YOU AND I MOST CERTAINLY DO HAVE THE RESOURCE TO DO SO AND MUCH MORE. EVEN THE BLOODY POST IS LATER THAN THE PREVIOUS POST !! I WILL FOLLOW-UP WITH YOU DIRECTLY TOMORROW !

Yuka - 19 Dec'05 - 22:14 - 2853 of 2855

What other examples out of interest? What are you suggesting is going on here and why? I don't know what you think happened with post 2848 but I hope the FSA throw anything you send them in the bin unless you have a more substantive complaint. They should have better things to be spending their time on.

As for "EVEN THE BLOODY POST IS LATER THAN THE PREVIOUS POST !! " isn't that usually the case ;).

PS. I think we will close today sub 1300. Depending on volume at close, I will act on my long. Might retain and increase short, for example. Or maybe just hold fire for a day??

Dear ADVFN

Post 2848 was NOT made by myself. Please can you therefore confirm, BY RETURN, who this post was made by, including their IP address.

It has become clear to me, over the past few days, that both this stock and in particular the ADVFN BB for this stock, is massively contrived and manipulated. It is my intention to pursue this to the end and therefore through the associated courts and, overall, I hold ADVFN entirely responsible. Please can you therefore provide me with the following:

1. Complete and full discolosure on the ADVFN "rule" on innaccurate BB postings, together with the ADVFN strategy and tactics for avoiding, eliminating and reducing.

2. Examples of such complaints received to date.

3. ALL previous postings by ALL ELA BB posters, together with associated IP addresses.

Please can you provide me with the above BY RETURN, no later than 22/12/05.

Yours

TRUST ME, I WILL GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS AND TAKE THE APPROPRIATE ACTION.

Yep, another good call I reckon....why would anyone invest in an AIM stock until the LGB debacle is resolved and certain assurances received from LSE as to how they will help prevent such a terrible situation arising again in the future??!!
AIM to collapse, IMO

Looks like they're going down this route at LGB, holdontight

How about using this thread to periodically add your thoughts on whether its an effective or worthwhile exercise or not as I'd be interested

Also, that way I don't have to spend the next couple of years watching the main thread or being accused of deramping / being an MM spy / being Rybak etc etc

While being unsympathetic to how he got into that situation, couldn't help not being moved by the human tragedy in that post. He did cheer up a little, though, later.

I don't think that LGB is going to be a good example for your Action Group idea, holdontight.

One way or another, it looks as though there has been serious fraud involved. Either LGB have been a victim as much as all the shareholders and all the RNS releases were being made in good faith or they have been a participant in said fraud in which case action via the SFO and the courts are going to be more effective than your action group.
