14/11/2018 07:54 | Why the lack of information on financing? | shanklin
14/11/2018 07:45 | Very positive and well-written RNS reassures me. Much higher standards of comms looks professional and well-written. Drilling on BKM to complete by early 2019 with drill results to be reported to market as available, meaning steady news flow. No fundraise mentioned, using existing drill rigs to drill. Exploration also will result in steady news flow. Just need the copper market to pick up! | zeusfurla
14/11/2018 07:19 | Wakey wake everyone, RNS out with an update to the next 6 months operations. Have to say not quite as detailed/finance as hoped but all the same, some good news in there especially the new areas of possible 'company making' resources. Peter Bird, Asiamet's Chief Executive Officer commented: "Following thorough review of the study work undertaken to date we are clearly of the view that this additional piece of work should significantly enhance the outcomes of the BKM BFS when complete. The planned drilling is expected to substantially improve understanding of the Resource and the geological and geotechnical inputs into mine design, leading to enhanced overall project economics. A robust BFS, both in terms of quality and economics, is critical to achieving a successful project development financing outcome. The very recent recognition of a potential new VMS district on our tenements in Central Kalimantan is extremely exciting as these deposits are recognised globally for their potential company maker value per tonne metrics and almost universally occur in clusters. We are looking forward to unlocking this value through our ongoing exploration effort and expect to be reporting a strong news flow from these programmes as a result" | dorset64
13/11/2018 17:41 | Like the copper price u mean. Even large caps with div yields are down 20pc in last 6 months | buildit1
13/11/2018 17:35 | Seems everything gone downhill since sh left | ic0gcds00
13/11/2018 17:04 | Cu price and needs news. Been nearly a month since BFS delay announcement. We know rigs are being mobilised so be good to see the firm plans and drilling and subsequently drill results newsflow get going again. | buildit1
13/11/2018 16:51 | This is looking sick, guess it is the Cu price? | freddie ferret
13/11/2018 13:56 | Hopefully Trump and Xi will have something on the table for the G20 Summit in Buenos Aires later this month and copper prices will return to some form of normality. Meanwhile messers Manini and Bird are doing all they can to restore confidence in Asiamet and stabilise the share price ...... hopefully? Better this is delayed and they get it right this time! :@) | mrpiggy
13/11/2018 09:25 | Oki Agree completely but think your 60k market cap is low even for ARS! Have been topping up recently. | zeusfurla
12/11/2018 15:18 | BKM (alone) looks very similar to Wetar of Finders Res, so i'm sure it's on the radar. It's also already been mentioned that it was a calculated risk going straight to BFS, rather than PFS, so with BFS effectively now being the first cut, in the way that a PFS would have been, there are sure to be refinements coming through, as well as the tweaks on the back of the additional drilling. Pretty quiet at the moment, but i'm sure all eyes are still on ARS. | aim0raider
12/11/2018 15:02 | Merdale Copper Gold took over Finders resources last year and have just taken a 66% stake in another Indonesian project.. ksk is swimming in minerlisation,BKM has an IRR of nearly 40% and an upgraded BFS is just a few months away, plus whatever Beutong has-all this for £50m. Can't be many high grade copper projects at surface which Asiamet has. Just my opinion but there must a danger of a a low ball offer ie anything less than 20p. Only mugs will sell at these levels-imo! | sos100
12/11/2018 13:57 | D64 - indeed - not often you see high quality copper assets of a size and scale potentially of interest to mid/large cap miners, available at a 50% discount to the price paid by institutional investors earlier in the year, and prior to the increase in ownership of Beutong from to 40% to 80%. Considering the copper market fundamentals over a 2-3 year investment time horizon, I suspect the current share price price will prove as prescient as the 1-2p on offer back in 2016, following the bottoming of the commodity and shipping markets in Q1/2016. 12/11/2018 13:33 | SOS100. Interesting to note the premium was over 100% | junior21
12/11/2018 12:16 | aim0raider, I actually think right now would be a buying point for new or existing holders as, very shortly, we will hopefully get an in-depth update of operations, plus the drill bit starts turning, plus many many updates from all our other operations and, as you say, moral/RSI and just about everything is rock bottom at the moment, so could be a great time to buy imo. | dorset64
12/11/2018 12:04 | RSI flat to the floor (over sold), well and truly rinsed out now, so probably a good entry point Dorset. | aim0raider
12/11/2018 11:27 | and M&A activities in the sector.. just a few days ago | sos100
12/11/2018 09:51 | It's all about the copper price. | horneblower
12/11/2018 09:40 | I'm concerned about the last 4 weeks share price nose dive and the growing bad feeling towards the BOD. However I am still reassured by the fact that for the last few years remuneration has been taken up in share options and it is in the very best interests of the BOD to do all it can to raise the share price Long term the macro fundamentals are in a good place and even short term, like sentiment, the share price can and (I believe) will rise once the plan for the next 18 months is set out... | jimbo310813

12/11/2018 09:07 | For one I don't listen to or take much notice of outside 'noise' unless its officially released by said company in a RNS to the market, everything else is noise however, on this occasion Peter & Tony best start to pull their fingers out and put some 'meat on the bones' so to speak. They need to release a full, in-depth account of where exactly the business is today, what exactly they are looking to do with the BFS and how they propose to justify a delay of some 12 months on it, they need to say exactly how they are going to pay for the increase in drills over the coming months and knock this court case BS out of the ring once & for all. I still say that they should had taken the time to inform the market & most notably their employers of what the area currently offers at, say, $2.5/$3.0/$3.5/$4.0 etc along with the mechanics as to what the OPEX & CAPEX will cost, leading to a full explanation of profitabilities at 'X' prices leading a lifetime of 'Y' to the mine. They could had then quite easily stated that they believe with advice from their consultants that by drilling further in certain locations, adding inferred resources attained within the Jorc could lead to a high increase in both the profitability & thus lifetime of the mine. But instead we will soon be approaching 4 weeks after the calamitous interviews and release of change of plans, with no further information to its shareholders whatsoever. If they did choose to change their plans at the 11th hour as it now increasingly appears so, then they both seriously need a kick in the nuts & hard imo. All that said I still firmly believe in the company, the mines location of high grade super efficient copper mining plus other precious metals thrown in for good measure. It is why even though I am so frigging annoyed with the pair of them, that I now have more shares than I had before the BFS RNS week, and will look to increase further over the coming months if the story continues. I would seriously hope or even demand if I could, that they hold shareholders meetings when in the country for the upcoming conference as, if they do not & with all this negativity around at present, to me that would simply imply a further distain towards their shareholders and the very people they say they are aligned to. Get it sorted guys FFS. | dorset64
12/11/2018 08:15 | Think we deserve an update from the company this week... | tektonik
