Well I've placed a bet today. Still holding all my shares and have opened spread bet at 9.6, will add again if 8.6 ish becomes available.

Good luck all

The AGM resolution to permit 20% dilution was very telling to my mind and a more positive indicator that BKM development will be financed by some material partnership activity.

You can not do much with a £20m cap on placing funds available over the next 12 months so that is for more tactical activity and perhaps attracting more large funds like JPM.

I would expect that BKM financing conversation are at least 80% complete and have been going on for some time , as such I don't see a huge time gap between BFS and financing but there will be an amount of time needed to finalise things.

My concern primarily right now is that the likely BKM financing partners will be using the weakness in the copper price and the ARS share price to push and push on better terms so that impacts all of us.

Dropping the latest Beutong assays over the next day or two would be useful.

It's not a placing! Who on earth has dreamt that up?? ONG aim is so frustrating. Any drop in share price and The muppets start jumping at ghosts!!!

The £7m they raised in March was partly to pay for raising the Beutong stake from 40% to 80% and partly to finance extra drilling.
That's peanuts compared to what they will need for financing the mine and they need to do a lot more drilling to delineate BKZ etc and Beutong.
When you are building a billion dollar enterprize you need more than £7m.

This is a long project.
If you expect huge, quick returns, go somewhere else.
If you expect huge returns over three or four years, don't let a 10% drop in share price rob you of the long term gains.

The company increased the number of its authorised shares by 20% at the recent AGM.
This gives it the ability to raise finance using the excess of authorised over issued shares.
When this happens it will mean dilution and a small drop in share price in order to give the capital suppliers a "thank you". I do not expect the discount to be large but it is practically inevitable.

I take this as a sign that things are on the move.

Bring it on.

Topped up much to my trepidation but still believe in the story and these will be a lot higher in 2/3 years when I will reap the rewards. Hopefully by a factor of 5 of where they are today

Absolutely no reason to panic. The reason for the fall is quite clear. I topped up this morning, and that typically results in a large and immediate drop. Apologies, it's my fault.

Bobby, you are missing the point, I have not said it never delivers, it always does, I have said it always delivers later then expected, making things quite predictable, including share price movement and thus meaning you can trade large amounts in relatively comfort.

Is there a reason for the fall?

...how on earth do you come to the conclusion about the co. not delivering on milestones? If that's your view you obviously don't invest anywhere else in AIM as when it comes to delivering please show me many other co.'s with a track record even half as good as ARS?

Nothing wrong in trading, CC.
Only the strange denial that that is what you are doing.

To be fair to CC , you don't need a lot of luck to trade Asiamet in decent quantities - the movement is generally very predictable given that the company is always late with every milestone and constantly heralds a "news rich period" before going quiet for long periods.

As such you can generally sell large chunks in safe knowledge of buying them back at a cheaper price. The odds of being "caught out" are also limited as every news update tends to send it lower in any case at the moment.

Equally we know it an move up very fast at times for no obvious reason but as long as you manage your position carefully then this can also be to your advantage.

Not saying you might not be just as well sitting and doing nothing for 2-3 years, which I still expect would result in a handsome return - just that the behaviour of the company encourages certain trading patterns, and worse, it rewards them.

Lol, I don't know why the critics have to go for the jugular whenever someone advocates a contrarian view. Listen guys, we are all here to make money - right or wrong? I am only putting forward my view of the immediate future just as you long termers say sit on your holding and wait patiently. I don't criticise you for that so why the sniping remarks?

Good luck trading, Charles. I'm happy to wait here for the news. I've tried to predict the future on other stocks and got burnt so here I'm sitting tight. The strategy has worked perfectly for me over the last two and a bit years.

CC is switching to HZM.
Not something I would do but you never know.
Like ARS, HZM are about to publish a bfs but frankly, I don't think it will have that much affect on either share. It's the announcement of the financing that will get the share price marching.
