Hornblower; yep ....‘finalising amendments to the KSK Contract of work with the Indonesian Government...’
This is the finance enabler in the Bankable Feasibility Study; I expect the amendments to conclude in the next few weeks enabling the brakes to be released on full finance discussions for the debt element, at which point the project becomes a foregone conclusion from a mine delivery perspective and the share price moves up to the NPV in the BFS.
BKZ, potential porphyry feed are massive bonuses + nothing is in the price for Beutong as the share price presently solely reflects a 50% discount on the PEA NPV of BKM.
Sky is the limit here and we have a team to bring home the bacon...

Just listened to Steve’s interview. So much bloody good stuff happening across BKM, BKZ, Beutong and even Baroi is given “a Company maker” comment. We should see quite a few RNS’s dropping on a regular basis from here. Clearly partner discussions are in motion.

Truly believe ARS is one of those few opportunities to present in your investing life that seriously transforms how you will enjoy the rest of your personal and family life.

or even...

"Meanwhile, activity at a corporate level has been extremely busy as we progress finalising amendments to the KSK Contract of Work with the Government of Indonesia and continue to engage potential new stakeholders and partners for the development stage of the BKM copper project."

Peter Birds penultimate paragraph is easily missed glossed over but , for me, is the thing that will cause the share price to accelerate from early March....

The next few months are going to surprise i think. Steve had a bigger grin than usual today. I suspect the drill is being used as confirmation for what they are 90% certain is underneath BKM/BKZ. Deposits that start off big, usually get bigger over time.

Heavy selling during the day prevented the price going higher. Hopefully this is associated with profit taking at the end of the tax year.Adorling I believe you wrote earlier '...Does everyone believe BKZ is joined to BKZ? - beginning to look like it even more now!...'I think it will be even more interesting to discover the nature of the monster lying between them.

Informative interview - good to see they are strengthening the exploration team and expanding the drilling programme which will run continuously throughout the year.

Asiamet Resources expects to deliver maiden resource estimate for Indonesia prospect in May:

Jan 2018

The BKZ polymetallic asset, located in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia, has continued to yield near-surface base and precious metal-rich mineralisation, the company said.

The 3,500-metre programme appears to be yielding results:

Asiamet Resources Limited (LON:ARS) said it expects to deliver a maiden resource estimate for its BKZ polymetallic prospect in May as it updated on progress with the drill bit.

The asset, located in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia, has continued to yield near-surface base and precious metal-rich mineralisation, the company said.

To date Asiamet has completed 27 of the 35 planned holes with the 3,500-metre infill programme expected to be completed by the middle of next month.

Successful progress:

Thus far,the work has been successful in “confirming the continuity of mineralisation between the 50-metre spaced section lines”.

For example, within the BKZ upper polymetallic zone, a drill hole intersected sphalerite, galena and pyrite in massive sulphide style mineralisation.

READ: Asiamet continues to unearth high grade mineralisation
This was followed downhole by strongly silicified and brecciated rock cut by chalcopyrite-bornite veins, the company said.

It added that all holes that pierced the BKZ lower copper-silver zone “terminated in intensely silicified rock that is oxidised and hematite-rich”.

Indications of a porphyry copper system?

The presence of bornite-chalcopyrite mineralisation and the magnetite/hematite alteration in the deeper parts of several holes was described as “particularly encouraging” by chief executive Peter Bird.

This is because these geological features are typically associated with porphyry copper systems in Indonesia.

“The presence of a prominent magnetic feature in the geophysical data provides a priority target which we look forward to drill testing later in the year with some deeper holes,” he added.

In the same update, the company said a site visit was planned to Beutong, the firm’s other project on Kalimantan.

Preparations in train at Beutong:

The idea is to meet up with local government and community stakeholders ahead of drilling there.

The initial drill plan is to test the lateral and vertical distribution of chalcocite, covellite, digenite and chalcopyrite mineralisation at the Beutong East Porphyry.

This will provide additional data to confirm “internal continuity of the deposit”.

uapatel,

Hopefully, it's announced with the BFS. That would be the perfect scenario.

Mr Roper,

I tend to agree, plus if a partner is viewed then monies may be forth coming anyway.

Hopefully it's after the BFS.

if there was to be a placing, the first question you need to ask is "what would they do with the cash?". We already know that IR have confirmed they have plenty cash in the bank to complete the BFS on BKM, the jorc at BKZ and the initial drilling at Beutong.

So what do we need cash for?
- converting of 40-60% at beutong? Well that's going to cost about 1.7m quid. Can't see a placing being organised for that. More likely to be an equity equivalent.

- bkm mine build - yup. But we need to finish the bfs first...As we know it'll be around the 150m with 1/3 equity and 2/3 debt. Most likely to be in May/June.

So.. finally, what on earth would we do with a placing now? I really can't see any logic for one. Most likely in 4/5 mths time.

Even if there was to be a placing, the one's so far have been to unlock and develop the assets, not keep the lights on, as is typical on AIM. Those then end up flipped into the market and prices are trashed.

I suspect any further fund raising will involve insti/HNWI types that are intent on holding for several years.

That is the difference with this stock and always has been.

Basically, the RNS confirms what we all thought.

From that perspective it is a good RNS...but is unlikely to spark major buying or selling thus should not affect the share price

It looks as if we will trade in a range between 8.5p and 11p for the next three or four months before a BIG announcement, probably in April/May June to announce a financing package with a timetable to build the mine at BKM.

That will be when the fireworks begin imo.

Even though there will be a placing, I suspect it will be done at around 9p, similar to what JPM have taken when the share price moves between 4.5p and 5p

I can think of a good fit for a partner. Steve mentioned the importance of an indo partner coming in.

By potential stakeholders they will mean a range of strategics like JV partners, offtakers and etc. Remember that one of the primary aims is to get one of the big local partners to joint venture. Having a powerful partner not only helps them but also means that they have deal with any potential divestment issues early.
