Naaaaa, you misread it Mr Roper..... the resource upgrade was 2.07%!This is AIM..... the Wild West of investing where no logic applies. Chin up, the market will wake up to ARS but sadly not yet!

I agree that the weeks before and after the BFS will be the time of the real major rocket in the share price That's the time when the big boys have to "put up or shut up". That's only 6-7 months away hopefully....I still think it's undervalued at 4p though!GLA

This is still seen as a tiny exploration company years away from production.

Although there is clearly loads of easily mineable and deliverable copper on site there are still three major barriers to the massive re-rating that we expect...

Official permissions from the host country and local departments.
Long term financing from reputable sources.
A clear picture of what world demand for copper will be at the time of production.

However, none of these is likely to be achieved for about a year. They will probably all come tumbling into place at the same time and if and when they are all satisfactorily achieved I believe the share price is likely to be at least ten times the current level.

In the meantime, the gradual proving up of this massive resource should allow the share price to rise to around 8p imo.

I am a relatively large holder (in advfn bb terms, although still midget like the rest of us) and I have high hopes for the future of both copper and Asiamet but I know it's going to be a long haul and the next 12 months is likely to see large swings...both up and down, probably between 3.5p and 8p.

Good luck all.

OF course we are - only ARS could announce a 207% increase in M&I resource in a growing copper price market and open up down the next day

I literally have no idea what it is going to take to finally move this above 5p and beyond.

Sitting duck to be taken out on the cheap now.

Good morning all, I hope you are all feeling positive after yesterday's fantastic news, the only negative thing about the day was the volume of selling from the (ARS) hole rinse and repeat brigade! They will become a distant memory when institutions buy inand this share re rates.... they will move on to annoy the Shxx out of investors in other shares. It's only natural to feel a little disappointed when you don't see your investment rise on such news but keep the faith because this will multi...multi bag, trust the PigIf you are feeling despondent after yesterday's play then this may help lift your spirits!!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uoiIYlww8M4This is definitely NOT one for you Mr Dorset64 as it won't help you one iota! ;@)

Looking at the PEA this is based on 391M lb's of saleable copper at $3.25.
Based on the low cut off of 0.2% , M&I are now at nearly 700M lb's, add in some conversion of inferred and you are at double the resource.

Even at a 0.5% cut M&I are at 560M lb's.

To me, this strongly indicates the revised PEA model will add anything between 15-30% onto the mineable copper reserve. Add in the strip ratios that considerably improve mine economics and it wouldn't surprise me to see NPV increase to $300 million +

What's even more mind blowing is we know all the other 3 nearby tenements of BKS, BKZ and KSK are highly prospective and will likely become standalone projects for copper or polymetallic in their own right.

Basically the KSK area will likely yield a 4 stage monster resource project over the next 30 years but resource drilling over the next 2-3 years will likely define just how big this will be.

Then there's the monster of Beutong.

Definitely retirement plan material on a 5 year time horizon but will be very surprised if this doesn't get bought out in the next 2 years as the commodities cycle turns bullish again...

highly geared

Lots of views on today. Thanks to the majority for posting some sensible thoughts. On the plus side; What an opportunity to add more for current holders, and more new investors added to the register.A better update than many thought.Copper looking good for a break out to $2.80 and the story continues to get stronger as the year progresses. It has always been a long term play. Those who are disappointed probably had a plan to jump out, wait for the drop and then jump in again.A great day. Thanks to the ARS team and especially Peter, Steve and Tony for the hard work.Good luck

I'm looking to add in the coming days. Can't believe how good that rns was and with the top guns in charge I look forward to the bfs being completed in the next 9mths and all hell breaking loose.

Oh I almost forgot to mention the drilling of bks and bkw. Anyone checked out the historic grades for these zones? Bkm will only get better and bigger.

And if Beutong drops the sht will really hit the fan.

On the contrary this was an excellent day. The project was expanded in size and significantly de-risked. One to two weeks the price will be mid to high fives or better

A final 150,000 for me into the close - that's a round 2m - looking forward to what a management with a long and enviable track record of delivering on the bottom line for previous Companies, and who have considerable skin in the game here, generates for shareholders by 2020.
