30/1/2018 15:32 | Very quiet on here. I thought you would all be lining up to buy after the drop. A terrible thought!!! Surely you'r not waiting for a bigger drop!!!! | bracke
30/1/2018 10:29 | High volume yesterday but a tight range and minimal change on the day. Buyers and sellers balanced. Twenty point gap this morning. Anyone for a fill. EDIT Now 30 points. | bracke

29/1/2018 15:23 | You will see in the chart below that following a retrace the share price was supported at the quartile sliding parallel ( second from top black line). It then rose above the major high achieved in mid December. So far so good. To prove it's still got the 'oomph' it has to rise at least to the previous high (pink line). | bracke
29/1/2018 12:45 | Its funny how over the years you kinda wonder if you could have done a better job. There have been times when I said to myself bed and ISA them and if it rises in future you will avoid CGT. I failed to do so and ..... resorted to selling CGT allowance each year instead. Now I think that had there been no CGT problem I would have sold too early.... So who knows? | fenners66
29/1/2018 11:17 | Hi fenners, Me too, class of 1997 - seen a few ups and downs since then! | ianwwwhite
29/1/2018 11:09 | Good day fenners You have done well to hold them so long but I imagine the drop from 1200 to 800 would have had you considering your options! | bracke
29/1/2018 10:24 | Also reminds me that I have held these shares for more than 20 years ! | fenners66
27/1/2018 11:33 | Hi fingers, Many thanks for your two graphs, most interesting and enlightening... The 'log' version gives a very good perspective on the long term trend which is easy to lose sight of with the daily price fluctuations. . | ianwwwhite
27/1/2018 00:01 | Hi Everyone, I have just posted these 2 x charts on the FXD1 thread, as a comparison between historical 'Linear' & Logarithmic' charts, and thought I would add copies here for anyone that may be interested. | fingers xxd
26/1/2018 12:56 | Good day fenners "What does it mean?" ==================== Good question. The blue PF was drawn off three pivot points and they remain. If the price action warrants a new PF then new pivots are selected and the new PF drawn and the original PF no longer applies if the same time frame is being followed. eg There maybe a PF for the Daily chart and another for the Hourly chart. In my Daily chart the blue PF still applies. Although the share price dropped out of the PF it continued the rise and re-entered the PF. I drew the black PF because although the share price re-entered the PF it did not reach the ML before dropping back out of the PF. There was the suggestion that it was 'running out of steam'. You will note the parallel lines drawn off the recent highs which often act as s/r. Looking at to-days price action you will note that as yesterday it is being resisted at a major high. We await events. | bracke
26/1/2018 09:53 | But what does it mean ? If you tilt the blue area a few degrees to the right - doesn't that mean the share price is still in the trend? | fenners66
25/1/2018 20:35 | Just like buses Not a chart for weeks then two come together. Cheers | 2flatpack

25/1/2018 17:25 | Good day ian Unfortunately not. The only way I know how to post a tradingview chart is by taking a screen shot. If anyone knows how to post a dynamic chart please enlighten me. In the meantime here is the end of day chart. | bracke
25/1/2018 17:24 | Well done Bracke on your achievement - I have to admit that I am 'well & truly bent' :-) | fingers xxd
25/1/2018 16:59 | Good afternoon bracke, Am I right in thinking that the graph is dynamic and will automatically update? | ianwwwhite
25/1/2018 14:40 | After much fiffing and faffing about I have managed to master the task of giving an image a URL and uploading it.. Those of a charting 'bent' will understand my thinking, those who are not 'bent the charting way may have a problem.....such is life. | bracke
25/1/2018 12:00 | Hi fenners, I agree, I wouldn't normally post that much detail, but in this case I thought that other AHT investors would make allowances and be encouraged to see the full highlights. Thank you for drawing our attention to the results prior to publication! | ianwwwhite |
