Once longer term finance is agreed, a single digit share price will be a thing of the past IMHO.

RNS Number : 5650A Avanti Screenmedia Group PLC 04 August 2008

FOR RELEASE

4 August 2008

Avanti Screenmedia Group plc

("Avanti"or "the Company")

New Setanta Contract: Additional Advertising Sales Rights

The Board of Avanti, the AIM listed leading digital screen media specialist, is pleased to announce that, following a successful first season of advertising around Premiership Football, the Company has signed a new 3 year agreement with Setanta Sport Limited ("Setanta") to sell airtime and associated advertising and sponsorship on its sports channels into pubs and licensed premises in the UK.

The deal which runs up to and includes August 2011, includes the current and future broadcast rights including, but not limited to, the English Premier League, Scottish Premier League, FA Cup, England Internationals, World Cup 2010 qualifying games, UEFA Cup, Indian Premier League Cricket, Boxing and the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Under the agreement, worth an expected £8 million over the three years, the net contribution to Avanti after revenue share and agency commission is estimated to be £1.6 million over the same period.

Avanti is still seeking to raise further funding, although the short term working capital position has been secured from the recent investment as announced on the 18 July 2008.

Commenting, Simon Rees, Chief Executive of Avanti said:

"We are particularly pleased about today's announcement as it demonstrates that our strategy of developing and extending existing relationships is proving successful. Setanta is a key client and we are delighted to extend and deepen our relationship with them. This is a reflection of the significant commercial success that Avanti has delivered for Setanta in the first year of their Premiership coverage."

8Trader - From what I see this BB has no rampers this afternoon but still you come on with your negitive deramps. I can understand when someone like the guy a couple of weeks ago was going on about '10 - 15p anyday now' but today the board has been free of any ramping idiots.
I suggest you start your own board for deramps only!!

note the word 'FURTHER' and no use of the word 'IMMEDIATE'.

This stock does have a never ending supply of chasers, more burnt fingers
later but nice contract.

???? this normally moves 0.25p at a time, so the spread is pretty much at its lowest you can reasonable expect it to be at, personally i like the way this moves and now neo is behind us i do not think we will have to wait long before we see some real progress (just take a look at them. you know DYOR.) but if your adverse to risk then you should really reconsider whether trading on aim is right for you. DYOR.

0.25p spread is hardly a killer especially when this has the ability to jump in 2p gaps!

So to buck the trend, we have to sell when its blue and buy back when its red.

Oops, silly me, I forgot the spreads so wide not much chance of getting back in under my sell.

In other words, leave alone, or be locked in.

I do hold and am just giving honest advice in my opinion.
