28/11/2006 10:00 | Interesting. | chester
28/11/2006 08:54 | chester 95% of companies i have bought into if they have their results on a wednesday they are nearly always bad so i reduce my holding to either 25% or 0% before always been the same for some reason!! | ntv
28/11/2006 04:45 | Yes, results will be fascinating. Worth watching for odd trading patterns on Tuesday. Unlikely I know but it happens... I am in USA at the moment so I will have to stay up late to catch them on Tuesday (2am) Andy | andysand
27/11/2006 15:15 | and still only 7m Mkt cap | cambium
27/11/2006 15:08 | Seems to be holding up well on such a weak day. Am looking forward to results on Wednesday. | liarspoker
24/11/2006 10:14 | NTV - Nothing wrong with selling for a profit but I think this one has much further to go. | chester
24/11/2006 10:11 | 3 v 1 Tick up soon imo. | liarspoker
23/11/2006 23:28 | sold a few at 145 probably to early but there you go | ntv
23/11/2006 15:39 | >> egoi: always good to set low expectations. But I think the share price numbers (note they exclude goodwill and exceptionals) are the company target. Let's see what the interims bring in terms of numbers and words. >> andysand: as you say no-one knows. But clearly the stronger the growth the higher the P/E. Getting volatility out of the earnings would also help. If 17p is realistic for this year then £2 would seem a reasonable share price target I would have thought. Probably only greater if (further) significnat growth is talked about. Looking forward to the interims! | ianreid
23/11/2006 12:21 | Mum's the word. Shhh Andy | andysand
23/11/2006 12:16 | 300p or so is what I had in mind, andy - but I said I wouldn't mention it again, so I won't. | diogenesj
22/11/2006 21:13 | still up nicely i see :-)) | ntv
22/11/2006 14:56 | Well that's the 140p mark broken. Seems like more punters are taking note of this share. I think last weeks rise was due to a tip. We haven't seen buying like it since. | liarspoker
22/11/2006 13:47 | I'm sticking with 12p for the full year Ian, very cautious, as I find broker numbers virtually never get matched on AIM, and given what has been announced in orders etc so far but very happy to up my prediction if the interims 'go our way'! Remember options are no longer anti-dilutive and pension gains won't be repeated, however these are fairly peripheral considerations compared to the likely impact of acquisitions and i hope my target will be beaten. | egoi
22/11/2006 13:30 | You'll have to work out a fair valuation for this benson. I posted my valuation a few pages back but that's only for 2007. If contracts in Europe go well then this is definitely way undervalued imo. I still think it's on a single digit P/E going forward but you'll have to valuate it yourself and see what you come up with. As for the spread, it's best to phone your broker here. You can get upto 10K for 145p. Normal market size is 2500 for which you also have to pay 145p. Might as well grab a fair size imo. The person that bought the 20K probably bought them T20 imo. Best to pick up that size in smaller chunks to avoid an astronomical mark up. All imo please dyor etc. | liarspoker
22/11/2006 13:24 | Just started to look at this, wondering if I am too late to the party and if the spread is always so unfriendly. | benson
22/11/2006 12:33 | 20K buy this AM. Someone's confident. :O) Had to pay 150p for it too. | liarspoker
22/11/2006 11:43 | CB7 I prefer to be cautious, (always nicer to get a pleasant surprise anyway!) we haven't had contract news for a little while and maybe some new ones will accompany results. Revenues can be a tad lumpy as you say. However ASF is a cracking 2-3 year investment imho and still simply too cheap. Also I expect a dividend hike. (Dio; CHCP is the one I think is very good value on Plus). | egoi
22/11/2006 11:34 | egoi, your 12p eps figure seems very cautious, perhaps its a post goodwill number? ASF made 12p (pre goodwill) in the 2nd half of last year alone. Agreed that results may be variable due to contract timings, but at the agm on 18/07 "the momentum had continued". It is difficult to pin down a number, but I see no reason why nearer 10p eps (pre goodwill) is not acheivable in H1. | cb7
22/11/2006 11:16 | Don't think my broker does T20s. I'm too lazy for all that quickfire trading anyway. Thanks for the tips, egoi - I'm a bit nervous about Plus/Ofex, but I am holding MyHome and GSC, and will try to find time to take a look at the others. | diogenesj
22/11/2006 10:40 | Level II strengthening - was 2 v 2 after the last tick up but is now @ 3 v 1. Expect to break through 140p soon imo. Especially since we are only a week from results. | liarspoker
22/11/2006 10:19 | Just a longer settlement date allowing short term traders to punt in and out around results time - and just testing people's resolve here! -:)....... I don't want to start using the thread for other stocks but talking of Unquoted site, any value seekers who do trade Plus stocks should take a serious look at CHCP a real classic Unquoted 'early spot' stock; yesterday announced second half would beat first half. First half eps 1.37p. So about 3p for full year. Share price is 13p! | egoi |
