Hi GHF your 25k and 7k then (the latter 5p above offer!)! -:)

Seriously though good to have you on board. I have a target of 250p+ - but that's 2-3 years away I fear!
However I have held VTS and STT from small acorns and they have both moved from 90p to 250p+ on a similar growth path in a similar timeframe and I have still some shares in both.

I love these little known profitable value stocks away from the mob - not many of them left. Was bit wary of starting a thread on here to be truthful! So far so good though. -;)

Yeah - took me a while fo figure that one out - I'd never been called Fireman Sam before and I was also trying to buy shares in International Rescue. Thunderbirds are crashed !!
Asf going up nicely this afternoon tho. :-)

My minuscule holding has already turned blue. Pity, in a way, as topping up will be more pricey. So it was you, Tom, who started the whoosh this morning. (I thought it might have been my mentioning on the ANGL thread that Fireman Sam had given ASF the thumbs up and that IR were interested too). LOL

Hi Andy

Quick post to say that I've been accumulating (like a few others it seems :-))
over the last few weeks.
As egoi's excellent thread states, great potential here and I tend to agree that it appears fantastic value.

I've been struggling to buy within the spread over the last couple of days and was quoted 93p for only 4k when the offer was sitting at 80p-90p.
I seem to have triggered the latest move up with a couple of buys this morning - simply no stock around.

Thanks for the posts to date.
Hope to contribute soon.

Kind Regards
GHF

Looks as if I got in just in time !! Another first. lol
Bought another 2k this morning so now I will pull up the drawbridge behind me!
I think your fair value estimate could prove to be a tad conservative Andy. I certainly hope so anyway. Tom

Is the world waking up to the potential of this company? Well, it seems so....

Fair value would be 160p (Prospective P/E of around 10) in my opinion but could easily go higher with the security aspect so much in focus now.

Hello Tom and others! I have just emptied my Selftrade piggy bank to buy 390 of these shares. The smallest trade I have ever made. Yes. Egoi. Either this will be a steady burner with deals with the Fire Brigade or .... there will be an immense conflagration. You can't lose, really. Hope to buy some more later.

Hi Tom and daunker, welcome aboard! Long termer this but managed to get another 2,500 today, my fourth tranche.
Warning however should accompany buying:
Anyone getting these for under 100p risks criminal charges when their grandly larcenous tendencies are spotted!
That's all of us, then.......... -:)

I picked some up just before the rise on the 13th sept. No brainer this one :)

I thnk you can. I managed to get around £9000 worth before they rose to 90p. I would imagine it would take that amount to get another jump.....

Perhaps that is all they could get !!!

Would like some of these - can see big EPS increases coming through but can't enough to make it a sensible investment

Good luck to those who are in already

OK, who bought 54 shares? After costs, you will need a 40% return at least to break even:)

The only thing about the spread I would say is that it is of course equivalent to 8-9p, which in context never looks quite so outlandish for some illogical reason.

added yesterday. For such a smallcap co, a surprising % is with institutions, add on directors interests and 83% is accounted for. Not much free float will mean a rapid movement if demand increases. A few weeks back I could buy 7500 online at 83.5, now only 1k at 90p. Last years first half was poor, lps 2.3p, so this years will look good in comparison.

Well, that's it for 85p. However, until other mm's move, the spread looks horrible!

Well hello Harrogate, what brings you here! Good to see you, you great little value spotter, YOU! -:)

Just do us a favour if you decide you like ASF and don't tell anyone about our fiendish little plot to rob the mms of their crown jewels at exceedingly nice prices, or they'll all be at it - at least until we have completed 'operation steal'. -:)

PS: Afraid I do agree with you on JCR though a well timed buy after following the number of trades might prove very fruitful.

Egoi

hi there - fancy seeing you here!!!

This is just my kind of share - Found it by accident and surprised to see a familiar face

Will be having a further read of the results etc in coming days

PS - on JCR I asked the MD today if they had arranged a home for the 200,000 shares thta seem about to come onto the market - he wouldn't comment but todays trading makes me think we could be in for a bumpy few weeks

Andy I managed to get another 2,500 (shares) on the phone today, (couldn't buy online atall) but 'no improvement' on 85p, and i was told 'next best offer' was 90p. Hopefully a move up not too far away then!

This can be quite illiquid. I tried to purchase £3000 worth today with a limit of 85p. I did not get the shares.
