I have my stocks and Shares Account with Interactive Investor, the preference shares originally went in to that account then disappeared a few days later I found them in my trading Account so I emailed II to ask why and there answer was as these shares are unlisted so they cannot be entered in to your ISA account.

I swear they weren't there the other day but in my AJ Bell ISA I have a matching number of preference shares, value 0.00p

I'm with HL and the Preference Shares are correctly listed in my ISA and non ISA accounts together with my AST Holdings.
Also they are both correctly listed in my Bell's SIPP Account.

Can anyone with an AST ISA holding actually see the new shares in one of their accounts? If so, which broker, which account?

This is why i'm confused with what Leexski mentioned above. If he's right does that mean we have lost our tax free ISA holding due to this special situation holding?

My ISA holding is with AJ Bell, I also have a trading account as I use that to pay fees. There is no AST holding shown there, should there be?

Thank you, Leexski – will take it up with my broker. I don't have a "normal" trading account (only the ISA) so that might be the issue!

They can not be put in to your ISA as they are not listed, however they should be sitting in a trading account in your name on the same platform.

They are sitting nicely in my ISA with record of preferential shares referenced in my normal share dealing account. The hearing of the main case will be early next year so still sometime to go.

I still haven't heard anything re: the preference shares. Not sure if it's because I hold my shares in an ISA and/or that I sold out of AST a couple of days after the qualification date. Anyone else heard anything?

same here, lots of potential upside and possible downside but considering the rise Friday I would say the upside, is what we should hopefully find out. I would be amazed if the JV got away with abusing the administration policy, you never know we may be owning the JV???
