20/7/2017 09:20 | So Ning is selling. Why not sell in bulk instead of a couple of million max in a day.Is there a reason for this? | casabella2
20/7/2017 01:19 | They will up the price bid price closer to the selling price agreed Wait for 2p if you are holding a high quantity | jailbird
20/7/2017 00:45 | Ning is selling | shrewdinvest
19/7/2017 19:49 | So who is selling all these shares | juju44
19/7/2017 18:29 | New rns showa an increase in the number of shares Hailiang now have.Up to 60mil.Still less than 4%.I can;t understand how they are picking them up for 1.89 when i have to pay over 2p for them | casabella2
19/7/2017 13:08 | Well the latest Hailiang rns shows a reduction in it shares holding. | casabella2
19/7/2017 11:58 | In 2012, CIMG subscribed for shares in the company at 5.5p each. At that time ASA only held 52.9% of BNC. It now holds 74.73%. Gold and Nickel prices are firming up again and embezzlement of company funds is on the downtrend. I think the African directors are going to be very cautious about another Chinese consortium taking over ASA after the revelations that surfaced about the previous Chinese 'tenants'. The authorities will be scrutinizing everything about the offer as well. I'm not even sure that Hailiang Group would be able to get away with a hostile bid in such circumstances. | skidaddle
17/7/2017 16:18 | Nickel approaching 10000$ a ton again . Makes ASA more of a prize | juju44
17/7/2017 16:08 | Wait for a defence document from ASA and a broker valuation. Wait for a possible counter bid. Wait for a final agreed offer. Wait for the bid to go hostile. Any or most of the above. Whatever you do, don't sell yet. This can take a few weeks/months. | skidaddle
17/7/2017 15:09 | So what happens now with the share price Does it just stagnate. What will move it.? | casabella2
15/7/2017 13:00 | That's not massive when you know that there are 1,692,145,443 shares on issue. Yep, 1.692 billion plus a few coppers. | skidaddle
14/7/2017 22:08 | There are alot of shares out there yet to be bought by these crooks before they get enough for a complete takeover. | casabella2
14/7/2017 19:45 | Massive sales . Hailaing gathering them up at a big rate. Punters mustn't expect a better bid | juju44
14/7/2017 13:31 | Nope not at all. Just giving some realistic options on the quality of their projects, which aren't as wonderful as some people seem to think. And let's see how BNC goes over the next few months. Some big decisions needed there... If I had 38 bar to blow I would not spend it on ASA | nomz
14/7/2017 13:14 | Some punters talking ASA down encouraging sales . Are they working for the buyer ? | juju44
14/7/2017 13:12 | Re: REDTREND commentary... Kibolwe Prospect Extensions During 2006/7, exploration in the Kibolwe Prospect area located four copper-cobalt mineral occurrences developed within the highly prospective Roan strata which are host to world class stratabound copper deposits. The prospects which occur within a four kilometre radius of Kibolwe include Kibolwe West, Kiamato, Nyundeulu, Ecaille Centrale and Ecaille South. The Kibolwe West prospect is the mineralized western extension of the main Kibolwe Prospect. It has two distinctive copper clearings which have formed over a 700m strike length. Following the completion of the Kibolwe reverse circulation (RC) drilling programme, 11 reconnaissance drill holes were sited on the prospect. Seven of the 11 holes intersected visible copper mineralization. The intersections were between 8 and 40 metres wide (down hole). The Kibolwe West prospect has the potential to almost double the copper resources of the Kibolwe Prospect area. At Kiamato, a 700 metre long and 15 metre wide zone of prospective strata was mapped, trenched and sampled. Assay results received to date report cobalt values of up to 0.2% over 2 metres which equates to almost 2% copper. Traces of copper, up to 0.5%, have been reported from leached strata. Potentially 4 million tonnes of mineralized Roan strata is developed at Kiamato. The occurrence is open ended to the northeast and southwest. Nyundeulu mineralisation occurs in a similar setting to that of Kiamato. Units of mineralized Roan strata have been exposed over a 500 metre strike length. Preliminary sampling has yielded cobalt values of up to 0.2%. The strata are also leached at surface which would account for the lower copper and cobalt values. Recent trenching exposed a four metre wide shale unit with copper (malachite) mineralization. Potential Roan strata tonnages can be expected to exceed 2 million tonnes. The lateral extent of the Nyundeulu strata has yet to be confirmed. Limited exploration has been undertaken on the Ecaille Centrale and Ecaille South occurrences. Initial trenching results from Roan strata have given values of 1.7% copper over 4 metres and 0.1% cobalt over 4 metres. A high resolution airborne magnetic and radiometric survey is in progress over these and other areas. Interpreted targets from this survey will be followed by additional drilling in the Kibolwe and surrounding area in 2008, and are expected to confirm this potential. Commenting on the news, Mwana's CEO Kaala Mpinga stated "Mwana Africa is focused on the exploration and development of multiple commodities across the African continent. We have joint ventured areas of our large mineral portfolio with various major international mining companies, but we decided to keep 100% control of Kibolwe as we felt it was a high priority target. It is very pleasing to be able to report that we believe we have discovered a large, high grade, open pittable copper prospect here. The potential to develop a wholly owned copper mine at Kibolwe is very exciting." Looks like I was right... (or close to it anyway...) W. | wstirrup
14/7/2017 11:21 | The quoted resource (has anyone ever seen a signed off report?)at Kibolwe is 200,000 tonnes of copper at 0.8%. It's tiny, low grade and has no cobalt. And the fact that it hasn't got any bigger in 10 years tells me there's no upside. | nomz
14/7/2017 11:09 | I bought four AIM shares an the basis that probably one of them would come good but VGM and PGL are already totally dead ducks. Hambledon mining (mainly owned by the Khazak mafia and now called ALTYN)are still going and this one. It is not the pure money loss that is annoying, all portfolios have winners and losers, but the realisation with hindsight of how one has been taken to the cleaners. It is actually no better than falling for an telephone banking scam and losing the same amount! Hey ho..... | timgw
14/7/2017 10:43 | REDTREND, I seem to recall that MWA announced a possible 200 million pounds of copper about ten years ago, was at one of their DRC exploration sites... Now, I don't know what the current price of copper is, but maybe, they are just trying to get us on the cheap in expectation that copper prices will also go north VERY much, and whatever crisis is going on internally in DRC will one day be sorted. Sorry can't remember any more than that... "Kibolwe?" "Katanga?" News management by the company, has been dire, for the best part of that decade. W. | wstirrup
14/7/2017 08:53 | parties at NUOG guys now placing cleared! | timw3
14/7/2017 08:52 | On the copper there is no magic story. Anglo American had the ground and found nothing. Mwana had the ground and found nothing. Quite why you think a chinese pipe making company with no exploration or mining experience has found something I don't know. The ground is off the copper belt, its in the wrong place geologically. I'm in Lubumbashi 3 or 4 times a year and believe me if they had hit something good we would know about it. They haven't. | nomz
14/7/2017 08:38 | MArket taking the p1ss at this price | jailbird |
