The FD and the Chairmen have been removed but what action is going to be taken against them for stealing $4.3 m? Will they just walk away with the money ? I can't see their man Dearing starting legal proceedings against them, maybe he was even aware of what was going on ?
If no serious action is taken against the chairman. I imagine he and his associates will find another way to regain day to day control of the company. They are probably majority shareholders and with Dearing's help they will find a way of regaining control. Without control they will not be able to extract cash one way or another.

ASA's main problem has always been getting competent management that aren't corrupt. The Chinese always came across as very competent and the things they have set in motion may well benefit the company going forward.

There's still a question mark over Dearing and his associations imho.

Though I have not followed closely recently. If the Finance Director and the Chairman who perpetrated the fraud have been sacked, and they have or are in the process of getting rid of those Chinese employees who aided the fraud. presumably those Chinese will be replaced by locals and or South Africans which will leave the Chinese with a lot of equity and no control. They wont like this ,as we know, and they are unlikely to be able to pull the same trick as they did when aided by the crooked Dearing,in ousting the previous management.
So what will they do ? well maybe they are using the stolen money to buy more shares and will try and buy out the rest of the company with shareholders own money ?
As they are fully aware the easiest way to extract money from ASA and it's generous and gullible minority shareholders is by theft or dodgy contracts with associates.

Oh look......the share price is now back up.....his "sudden" recovery in the share price tells its own story imo. Absolutely incredible goings on.....
