Do the big boys develop from scratch or do they just sit and watch all the small fry, wait to see who starts to come to the fore, then reach for the wallet.

Great work Roily ... I think those considerations are crucial regarding the viability of ARHT as a potential front-runner ..(.. eg why or how are they different from the big Boys eg .. Apple,Amazon,Google, even Disney ? )

Intriguing, to say the least ...if it turns out that ARHT have a Patented advantage over those mammoths ...we can all fasten our seatbelts for the flight of a lifetime ...
Keep us posted Roily ..

I just did a quick google and found a bunch of companies that are in the Holographic marketing market and I sent those links off the my contact and asked him why is ARHT different/better than all the other companies in the market. I also read where Apple has a patent on something and how can ARHT compete with them.

I am going to try to dot the i's and cross the t's on this one. If he comes back with some real compelling answers I will think up some more questions for him.

Thanks Roily
... for me ... the burning question is ...
... at what stage are the Humagram " Patent Pending " deliberations at ?

I accept that question is similar to asking " what length is a piece of string ? "
.. but that makes my question no less crucial in the scheme of things. All pointers on this technology look ultra-positive ... but there's no future in investing in ARHT if they don't have global Patent rights on their baby .. all in my opinion ..

Quote from one IT guy I know "there is A LOT of holographic tech coming out. A lot are gimmicky, however this one appears to be targeted specifically for marketing. I’m definitely not a expert at the technology, however I know there is a lot going on with it"

I have been googling to see what I can come up with and reading about Proximity Marketing as this is one area they are going after. On the entertainment angle their technology appears to be superior to Musion who used the Peppers Ghost technology and I have read several articles that imply that is old school stuff.

If anyone has any questions please let me know as the company has been VERY quick to respond to emails and phone calls. For this reason alone I already like them.

Hi Roily ... agree with you trying to stay realistic about this. Its not everyday that a potential nugget drops into the palm of your hand. Or is it just another worthless pebble LoL ? I'm treating it as a "too good to be true " tale for now ... if it looks like it is about to "lift off" at some stage, I have some readies waiting to dive in ... if I am quick enough
PS ... did your IT friends happen to mention whether they thought any other possible pioneers might be sniffing around the same idea ?
I can't help thinking that AHRT might not be the only, or the first, to discover / develop this tech wizardry ... but an announcement that Patent rights had been granted might persuade me to start loading some of my spare readies into it ...
... I'm looking on with bated breath to see what's in the impending "announcements" mentioned by Mr Duffy

Best thing with the ex vast clan is to forget they even own this just like a few months back. If this comes good in a few years we could even recoup a decent part of our original investment in the black (not from oil seeps) mountain.

Roily, thanks for your efforts, although I did laugh at "I think we may be onto to something here." deja vu

Very interesting that they are working on a payment system, that's a big market in the making.

Nil Pd- thanks so much for setting this up as there are lot of VST people out there that hung onto their shares and now we have a glimmer of hope and a place to exchange information.

In my research I like what I am seeing and I try to step away from the rose colored wine glass to keep my emotions in check, but this E&P investor wants to believe that a tech company will come good.

In case you are wondering how you became an investor in a Humagram here is what their attorney told me today:

Here is the short explanation from the company:

Your analysis below is basically correct. Following the relinquishment of Vast’s interest in the Qara Dagh block, it was a public company without any real E&P assets. Delebrity Inc. was looking to go public and one of the mechanisms to achieve this is to do complete a reverse takeover transaction into an existing public company (the other widely used method is an IPO, which is more time consuming and expensive). As a result Vast agreed to acquire Delebrity by issuing shares of Vast, and then Delebrity Inc. became a subsidiary of Vast (this was the reverse takeover transaction). At the same time the RTO transaction closed the company changed its name to ARHT Media Inc. This is how Vast became a technology company called ARHT.

I had the following email exchange with the company over the weekend. So far all the responses look reasonable. Working on my next round of questions.

Question: Can you please elaborate on the Proximity software and how the Humangram in the storefront can interact with the human on the sidewalk? In this done 100% by the software/ARTengine or is there some human interaction behind the curtain?
Response: The interaction is fully automated. Some local and specific content is obviously uploaded, but the platform is based on the android platform. So it can interact discussing at the same level as the android platform (the equivalent of Siri on iPhone).. the platform also stores information that is collected and sent back to the business for analysis.

Question: I see that you are listed on the TSX as ART but you are still VSTFF on the OTC. There is not enough liquidity on the OTC for my liking and I know you are just getting started but is there any thought about getting listed on other markets?
Response: The liquidity is in Canada. Its trades about 50 to 100k shares per day and no one really knows about the company yet. So on that front it is encouraging. In the US, it is currently only over the counter (which we know is really not adequate). But our listing should be moved to the OTCQX imminently. Besides that, we do not intend to list anywhere else.

Question: We really need to understand how this product will be monetized. I can see all the target markets at the website and this is great, but exactly what are you selling them? Are you just selling them the ARTengine and if so we would like to know what the cost is and what the projections and margins are.
Response: We can sell the platform and the holographic technology. The technology comes in 3 formats and different sizes. It can also be lent for events and things like that. the margins will vary a lot depending on the contract, but our cost are very low, not to say ridiculously low. I will ask Paul if we disclose the exact numbers.

Question: How much cash is on hand and how far will it carry you?
Response: As of the first day of trading, we had cash for about a year. But some money is being offered to us, so I wouldn’t be surprised if our ceo decides to take some to accelerate distribution if the stock gets higher.

Question: Do you just hold the rights to the technology, or do you own the whole package?
Response: We own the technology fully. We developed the holographic technology in-house, and we acquired the interactive and recognition capability.

roily - thanks for the feedback from your phone call with Simon Marcotte.

I note you said that similar info is on the website, so I will c+p relevant items and update the header. I'm heading out right now so doubt if I'll get it done until tomorrow or maybe later tonight.

All, I spoke with ARHT for about 30 minutes yesterday and it all sounds pretty good. here is a summary of my conversation which is a copy and paste from an email I wrote.

I called ARHT Friday and I spoke with a gentleman that described his role as that of Corporate Development and he was more than willing to talk and he was very excited about the company.

I started off by telling him that I was a former Vast Investor and that after the 50:1 reverse split that I really wasn’t a large investor. He fully understood and I told him that I was in contact with many other people that are in the same position. I mentioned to him that until ARHT came around the only reason I held my VAST shares was to sell them at a loss to offset capital gains but that ARHT has piqued my interest and from there he was on a roll. He said the company is well aware that many of the shareholders are energy investors and that most of them never heard of ARHT until some mystery shares showed up in their brokerage accounts.

I don’t know the laws but he indicated that in order to get listed in Canada you have to be a company for a minimum of two years and this is where Vast comes in as the amalgamation of VST into ARHT was done solely because they could get listed immediately. He told me to expect MANY press releases between now and the end of the year and they have many exciting announcements coming.

( I should add that I am writing these in the order of the conversation so they may be a little disjointed.)

They have engaged the services of Mayer Brown (hxxp://www.mayerbrown.com) which he explained as a major powerhouse law firm to help them with their patents and a quick look at their web site seems to support his claim. He told me that they have several patents that are pending and they hope to have them in hand in 2015(I think he said 2015?).

One of the most impressive things investors will see real soon is the powerhouse advisory board that they hope to announce very soon and this will include Carlos Slim and a few MAJOR entertainment producers. People that have produced Michael Jackson and Madonna. My notes say 10 in total but I don’t recall if that is 10 producers on the advisory board or have the producers on the board worked with 10 big stars.

He did not elaborate this too much but he said they have several contracts in the works to monetize the product and these announcements are in the very near future.

They are producing a new corporate video that will contain information similar to the video at their web site and he would send me the link as soon as it is ready for release.

I asked them about director holdings in the company and he said that they all hold shares and that the advisory board all bought in and I think he said that this information will be available in future announcements.

I asked him how their product was unique and how it compared to Musion(hxxp://www.musion3d.co.uk/ ) and he was very candid and said he was not familiar with them but he would check it out. He explained that they are just getting started so there are a lot of things that they need to do and he would discuss this with the CEO. I will main him the Musion link today and see what he has to tell me but I think part of the difference will be explained below.

The system operates on the Android Platform and it is a “proximity market” product(not really sure what that is) but he said that it has the capability to interact with the viewer and customers. He mentioned Apple Pay and how they are working on something very similar. He said that one of their main markets will be retail and if you watched the video at the web site of the person walking down the street interacting with the hologram in the store showroom window you will know what this means. He said that in this application the holographic projection is interactive and it has the ability to know details about the person on the street and in his description the interaction could go something like this: blond woman walking down the street, hologram says “hey blondie, you may like this outfit” blond woman stops and an interaction takes place and the hologram sends a coupon for 20% off of an item in the store.

With regards to Musion and the difference with AHRT he explained to me that they have a relationship with the CEO of Ticketmaster(donR17;t recall if he is one of the advisory board members), but one of the things that ARHT will pursue is the entertainment industry and hence the Hollywood producers on the advisory board. He said that their technology is much different others that are in the market in that theirs is much more real life and interactive. He called the other technology “Ghost” and that theirs is much different. OK, back to the Ticketmaster CEO. When they discussed with him the entertainment aspect and using dead celebrity’s he said that is nice but all their fans are dead to so this is not the path to monetization.

Going back through my notes I just noticed this and it should have been incorporated above but I don’t feel like rewriting. The CEO is Paul Duffy and he has been in the holographic industry for 15 years and he is the inventor of “ghost technology”.

That’s the extent of my notes and I just looked at their web site and it looks completely updated from last week so I will spend some time reviewing it over the weekend. It all sounds quite interesting and maybe our VST investment does have some legs. BTW- my contact was with Simon Marcotte and his info is now at the web site.

I will be posting this at the ADVFN ARHT BB as that looks like the place do it.
