01/11/2023 12:35 | No one saying the resource is rubbishUnless they told us porkies there as well?It is all the promises, and the eminently, and the positiveness, where all of it has gone to?That is the problem.Worse of all, they are pulling a salary for sitting on their hands.I will buy on a positive update.I feel sorry for the HWI who got suckered. All we need is an honest update, even if it says, we will do nothing till next door starts producing or we are putting the for-sell sign up!I am sure we all agree even if the prices go through the roof, we still need management to proactively manage.Gl all | goodday1

26/10/2023 10:06 | China's new graphite restrictions have sparked a renewed interest in the graphite sector. On October 20, China announced a new set of export restrictions on certain graphite products. As of December 1, Chinese exporters will be required to apply for permits to ship two types of the material, including “high-purity, high-hardness and high-intensity synthetic graphite material and natural flake graphite and its products.” China's new set of export restrictions follow the widened U.S. semiconductor export controls raised in August this year, which significantly expands restrictions on artificial intelligence (AI) chips and semiconductor manufacturing equipment and adds 13 Chinese firms to the U.S. Entity List, which further limits China’s military advanced AI capabilities. However, while the August controls were aimed at the chips sector, China’s graphite controls have more bite in electric vehicle (EV) battery manufacturing since the material is used as a key input for anodes, the negatively charged portion of the EV battery. China is the world’s number one graphite producer and exporter and refines more than 90% of global graphite. With the soaring sales of EVs, exceeding 10 million units last year, growing 55% from 2021, and sales set to grow even further, potentially reaching 14 million vehicles this year. The market for graphite used in batteries has also risen exponentially, growing by 250% in the past five years as carmakers try to lock in enough supplies of critical inputs to satisfy demand. The CSIS article below is an excellent analysis of the restrictions and graphite demand for the future and is well worth reading! hxxps://lnkd.in/dsmD ARMADALE CAPITAL PLC #graphite #naturalflakegraphit | andyview
26/10/2023 08:39 | I completely agree Amtech. I like you have been here a long time and I genuinely share your frustrations. I do also remember the couple of occasions over the years where the anticipation of news sent this flying upwards quickly. I suppose my hope is that this may happen again. I do say this more in hope than anticipation though. | colinmc1971
26/10/2023 08:11 | The management have to do something with the project for that to happen Colin, instead of just having their hands in the companies pocket | amtech1
