The MM's look like they have missed a trick here. I couldn't put a dummy buy trade through over 100k. Hopefully JORC data out on Monday....have a good weekend. First time in years I'm looking forward to an update.

Thanks Balbains, it's a very interesting read with all sorts of info about graphite.

With regards to graphite prices, the company states that around 48% of their 40Mt resource is the higher flake stuff.. based on the minimum price quoted for jumbo flakes they would have around 19.2Mt @ $1,400++/tonne = $2.8bn for now in the ground, in a suppliers market. I think the upcoming resource upgrade will be very interesting for a recalculation.

Interesting article, focuses on the use of graphite electrodes in steel arc furnaces which is making a come back. I have not really focused on that side of an already mature market. I have only really been looking into the viability of battery manufacture using our jumbo flakes of high purity. Even then the use of other grades is becoming increasingly popular due to price and all I want for Christmas is Armadale to start producing some graphite......am I dreaming?

Hmm, so the graphite market has turned into a suppliers market and ACP happens to have a few billion dollars of the stuff in the ground.

they have sold the gold, although millions have been spent in the past on the asset its the best thing to do to get it off the books, the company is just too small to concentrate on two assets.

Its really interesting the Australians wanted to get into the aim mkt so they sold the graphite asset to an aim company already listed, ACP.

Australians managed to take total control and solely concentrate on graphite project and get rid of the gold project, to list on aim this way was cheaper than actually listing a new one....

I see what they have done, although not good for the old investors of acp who wanted gold project to work for new investors this might turn good.

No longer a investor here but still keep an eye...

This baby is trading strong considering the sell volume over last few days. I think someone is accumulating. With the JORC update and this money coming in does anyone think we are likely to actually start mining? I thought we were just proving reserves and flogging it to the neighbours but this looks like the ducks are lined up to start producing and selling.

Well we have the jorc update to come by end of Jan so im guessing we are going to be up to 4p fairly quickly. If we take RNS as gospel then they will be proving up more graphite into q2 which could mean a potential doubling of reserves estimates. I'm very positive and hopeful here. I want double figures for 2018!!

If someone was shorting this because they were counting on a placing last year then they'll probably find there isn't a lot of stock around atm...hopefully 3p-4p soon;-)
