Hmm does not matter how good a share is just now. people just want the money. Must have some hefty mortgage bills. Prefer shares to property any day. Easier to buy and sell at least.

Sale of 500k shares at 10p appeared at the close of the day, so no wonder the price had gone down. Quite an overhang to clear now. Just as well I decided to sell out at a heavy loss recently, one "positive" note in a sea of red in my portfolio.

Yangou: yet another licence & the praise they give about how it suits for security i think will give a good lead in to more. Very pleasing to that this as not dropped in price the same has the rest of the market. (MJW) has dropped back to about 150p from 175p Tuesday. I'm still tempted to go into this one before the results on the 10th Nov (Monday).

Looking good especially with directors buying as well. What they are doing now is going to make the report back in Feb really good in my opinion. This WILL bounce back I'm sure.

Put the increase in R&D back in and the increase in general & its even. I still like the way this is going now all the spending is done on acquisition's. Pay off is near. There is a presentation this morning, we will have see what is thought of that.

I have just been looking at this company called Concurren Technologies (CNC) that would seem to be doing very well and realised as I was reading the final results that what they were working with was Intel who gets there licence from us which means we are doing ok at ARK. worth a read, see what you think. Michael Collins, Chairman, commented: "The number of sales opportunities we have been following up recently has been higher than ever and this has been putting pressure on our engineering team for some time. Our top priority has become the swift expansion of our engineering capability. We have been investing substantially more in development in the last 2 years and we are budgeting for a further significant increase in 2008. We are very enthusiastic about the prospects for our new activities in India and intend to press ahead as fast as we can to build a significant design capability there during 2008." "In recent months, the number of sales requests emanating from India has increased and so the Group has established a sales channel in the sub-continent. In the coming months, a further sales channel will be established there to address the defence and telecommunications markets in particular. Sales opportunities in the USA have also increased. In 2008 so far we have not seen any lessening of customer interest in our products due to the economic downturn affecting many parts of the developed world. We believe this to be because our primary focus now is telecommunications and defence where our experience indicates that demand for innovation continues to be high." "We have announced some important new product launches this year already and we expect that the release of even more new products based on the latest multi-core Intel® processors should ensure that we are in an excellent position to take advantage of these sales opportunities." 26 March 2008

How the hell do you work this one out, not one sell all morning, just buys, & someone comes in & buys nearly £159k worth in one go at at Mid price 19.50p instead of offer price? And the price doesn't budge!! Its been going up at one percent of that buy. How has whoever got hold of that much at that price?

Daily Telegraph Chip designer ARC looks in good shape to turn a profit next year after an agreement revealed yesterday with the technology giant Intel that could bolster ARC's royalty by £3m a year by 2010. ARC trades on 2.3 times 2007 sales forecasts – and 1.8 times 2008 estimates – its closest peer, ARM, is valued at 6.3 times 2007 revenue projections. But with the Intel deal in the bag, ARC's recent recovery does not appear to be another false dawn. Buy.

The Telegraph Chip designer ARC last week signed a breakthrough deal with chip-maker Intel, which sees it licensing its IP for a range of products to the US giant for a number of years. In terms of its enterprise value over sales, it looks cheap compared with its peers, on just 2.4 times this year. So far the stock has remained below the radar, suggesting plenty of upside for investors who get in now. Buy

Just bought another 44k shares at 19.65p, I should have sold my other shares last week & come in much cheaper, still I'm in for the best now & hope to make back what I have lost by my reduce over all price. I think you are right Yangou there is bags of upside on this, in fact if last time this "went" is anything to go by I think this in the next month will double its present price especially now they have got all the acquisitions they want & seem to have it all working well with plenty of business from what I can make of it, thats why I have never sold.

Investors chronicle giving it a Buy today. Still holding after down 50% being told to hold by a tech newsletter. So if you can buy here I believe you will have bags of upside over the long term.
